Very good...the John Wiseman book I had as a youngster and read it over and over, however, I lent it to someone and never got it back...I've borrowed this one from a mate...the other one is great too!

It is more than that too! with this knowledge, spit-roasting a wild boar, that you caught yourself using a simple trap, in the Black Forest, would be a breeze!!!

Well, in celebration of the fact that we now recognise the Pagans as a legitimate Indiginous Faith Group I am re-reading Terry Pratchetts "Small Gods".
Anyone here into the Disc World ? I guarantee these books will make you larff, they are also quite perceptive.

Read a few Terry Pratchett in the past, not as good as Douglas Adams in the perceptive stakes but still a good read

Seems we share something in common here!
I've read a load of these style books too and some stuff never been properly published that's best not to describe what it's about here.

Put a lot of these SAS survival stuff to practice too and not just an armchair reader when I was a teenager in the army cadets.

I'm actually utterly shocked beyond belief at your comment. :!:

I have no idea where this aggression has come from?

What on earth has caused you to react this way and post such an unfortunate remark, both unprovoked and quite hostile I thought, especially for ACD. I'm not two faced, nor was the intent, for goodness sake and it's very sad you think this way. I've spoken to you since in the forum, not long ago and all was fine, then all of a sudden, after driving 200 miles back from work today, I looked in the forum to see this and honestly have no idea where this has come from.

I've spoken to you in PM too in Channels and numerous times in the actual forum as well. Remember talking about jet skiing in Cyprus? I had no idea you would actually react like this and it's worrying to see.

Utterly, utterly shocked and I mean really bemused at the bizarre attack here. I must have really pissed you off somewhere along the line and I was always one of the members in Channels who didn't want to see Bas ban you and guess you still are.

Go easy there and take care. (think I already said that to you years ago in Channels and now I'm forced to utter it again)

No worries everyone. I've sent him a PM and have no intention for a brawling match here. I hope he will respond via PM. Me and roker(shezz) go back a few years, over in the Channels forum, if he can remember. Don't let any of this worry anyone here, especially Lemming who I'm sure can do without this stuff.

I just statred the second book in the "Girl With The Dragon Tatoo" series.
Starts off at a far better pace than the first, hopefully it keeps up.
