With the cool and damp time of year apon us i've been reading alot more.
In the last week i've read two very different but equally entertaining books you may want to consider:
Gravity by Tess Gerritsen.
Its a fictional story about a virus ( ? ) outbreak on the ISS Space Station.
Think of an eppisode of House taking place in space and you get a brief idea.
One of those books that just keeps building tension on top of tension.
They are currently filming a big budget film of the book, hopefully they do not mess with the story as it could be an epic film.
Marcelo in the Real World by Francisco x. Stork
This is another in the long line of fictional Autism stories i seem drawn to.
This was a really great book, really well written and holds your attention to the last page without anything actually happening.
Next on deck is :
The Weed That Strings The Hangmans Bag by Alan Bradley.
It is the sequal to the brilliant mystery novel Sweetness At The Bottom Of The Pie , story of a 10 year old detective in 1950s England.

ive hit a dry patch on the book front. i have nothing to read, and no inspiration either.... i tend to go mental on one topic/style, read three books in a row then, completly counter balance it by blitzing a different topic.
my recent trip was english history... but befre that was comedy... i think i need a decent biography or two.... peter o'toole perhaps, or david attenborough if he has one.

I read a new book called " Room " in two days last week.
Its about a woman and her child living in a single room they are being held captive in.
Its been shortlisted for countless awards and best of the year lists, including winning the prestigous Man Booker Prize.
Grab it if you need a great book for a Christmas gift.
Started The Strain book 2 last night.
The first one was excellently creepy and twisted, hoping for the same.
This is a great Vampire horror book , a natural response to all the silly tween Vampire porn.
