I didnt find any english text about this, so I have to translate it with my own words.

On the 30th November, people in the switzerland will be able to vote for a legalisation. If the vote is successfull, the following things will happen:

1.Smoking,possession and the purchase of small quantities for own use will be legal.

2.Growing your own, for yourself will be legal.

3.The government has to regulate the import and export and the trading with psychoactive marihuana.

4.No advertising for marihuana!

I hope this really happens......

Switzerland does seem to be very forward with their cannabis laws as I'd read that Shatibaba does (or did) all his breeding there plus dont they have some sort of coffeeshops anyway? pretty sure I read you could go and buy little bags (made out of hemp) with weed in them.

Thanks sh@dy. If I remember right, you buy the bags of weed as some sort of "aromatherapy pillow".

Yeah that sounds right, I think it was just wishful thinking that they came in hemp bags. :D

Its a votefor the decriminalisation of cannabis and heroin.

i´ve heard from several people who work in switzerland for some time that it is legal to have one plant for personal use. but i´ve looked it up right now on the internet, and there it says that everything concerning weed is a crime. growing, selling, and even consuming.

anyone been there and knows what it´s really like?

peace

I can kind of understand why it didn't pass. They don't want their country to become like the Netherlands. I wouldn't want to attract criminals and all that either. The solution is for the whole EU to legalize it, and then there won't be any criminal activity.

wrong....there will be coming criminals from outside the EU, thats why the only solution is to legalize it on the whole world, which will not happen in the next 50years.

Possession / growing has been legal in Canberra and Adelaide in Australia for some years.. Worst thing that happened was that it was abused to grow for profit to sell to other states - i.e. undeclared untaxed income - just another tax dodge.

I don't understand why 'liberal' Europe is now become more conservative than 'conservative' Australia. What happened?
