Skunk question

Howdy again!
I remember smoking some skunk years ago in the Midwest, but it's been a looong time. I loved it from what I remember, but can't remember the effect.
Can anyone tell me if you'd classify it as Sativa or Indica? Is it a hybrid? Does it matter?
I've leaned toward the more cerebral highs (don't like the heavy, immobile stone of Indica--I'm lazy enough as it is

But maybe I'm making too big of a deal of the difference.
Advice?

Mostly Indica w/little Sativa. I like skunk. Plenty of skunks to try in Amsterdam. Skunk No. 1 might a good one for ya.

I love sativas also, but Skunk is a nice indica. Strong, but doesn't couch lock you.

Last time I had skunk was at Greenhouse. That was almost 10 years ago, so I'm not a good skunk resource. From what I remember about skunk it has a high similar to Cheese, which is a great strain and becoming one of my favorites. Of course there are many variations of skunk. I do recall someone propping the Skunk No. 1 from Katsu. I'd try there if I was looking for skunk.
Yeah there was a Daily Mail post regarding the dangers of UK Skunk

The original Skunk hybrids fused traditional cultivars from Central and South America, Afghanistan and Thailand. Through generations of intensive selection and back-crossing, the very best examples of Skunk were stabilised into the first true-breeding Indica-Sativa hybrid(source:Sensi Seed)
Skunk #1 leans heavier Indica. Real skunk is hard to find in coffeeshops as it does not produce well enough to grow commerically anymore. "Skunk" is also the name the UK media uses to describe any decent seedless cannabis. If you are coming to Amsterdam then sample sample sample and you will find something to your liking I am sure.
