Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

well looks like if i get my days off i will be in amsterdam for new years. Where are the best places to be that night? are the coffeeshops still open late?

Of course with my first trip coming up I don't know the New Years places in Amsterdam, but I am arriving there the morning of January 4. It would be cool to meet folks from here to share a smoke, I wish I could have come for New Years, but family obligations wont allow that.
