I can't personally say a bad word regarding KLM as I've only ever used them once and everything was fine but if I ever had a problem I'd probably be obvious and say KhellM.

Boner - the people's poet!

Nice one fella...

I've only used BmiBaby of late, Thomsonfly once (no more since they withdrew their flights to AMS from Coventry) and previously KLM - a bit more expensive than most, but a good provider nonetheless - I seem to recall getting a complimentary snack on the KLM flights, but I'd rather save a few quid and forego the cheese roll, especially on a flight that lasts less time than it takes for me to get to work on the bus!

Flights in September or October for £57 return, that is with only hand luggage and no pre-booking of seats, with a hour flight who needs to pre book a seat.

I just got 2nights 3days for £57 return or £112.50 for two people leaving on the 18th Oct for 2 nights.

Cheap flights are out there, but if you take baggage you will be charged extra and if you pre book your seats you will be charged extra, if you only going for a couple of nights then only take hand luggage etc.

Flights are not going to get any cheaper, particularly from Heathrow*. From March BMI are halving the number of daily flights on the Heathrow - A'dam route down to 4. Instead they're expanding the number of flights to Kiev (wtf?) Less options = higher fares on the other two carriers from there - KLM and BA

I use Eastleigh airport (probably about 1.5 hours drive from London) same as Stenman - close by and cost 57 quid return. My next trip we are only going for 1 day- we leave at 7 am and flight back is 9 pm giving us around 9 hours of smoking and get to kip in my own bed. Whole day should cost less than it took to take my girl out to London for the day

I got my flight for the 420 meet @ £32.99 return. Let me break it down for you tho
From Stansted to Amsterdam £22.99 (morning flight) no baggage charge as i can get everything in my hand luggage, with a £2 charge for using my debit card (2 of us going so split into 2)

Flying back from Eindhoven to Stansted @ £10.00, (evening flight). with a £10 charge for using my debit card (2 of us going so split that into 2)

So the full amount for my flights are £39.00, which is the cheapest ive ever paid.

Still gotta find somewhere 2 stay!!!
Excuse me while I light my Spliff.....

Lol, nah i wont, but i dont mind paying that for the train service in the Netherlands, and it gives me the day to sample the coffeeshops from another city.
