Breakfast

Post by looby80 »

Hi

Can anyone recommend places (any area of Amsterdam) to have a cheap breakfast? I've got my list of places to have lunch/dinner on the cheap ready, but not having much luck finding budget places open from 9am.

Thanks

Lou

I find Albert Heijn best - a few crusty rolls and some freshly sliced cheese and salami with a bottle of orange juice is perfect for me, and only 2 or 3 euros. And a coffee when I've gotten to a cs.

Just go to Pablow Picasso coffeeshop and order €12.50's worth of weed or hash and get a free typical dutch brekkie, ham, cheese, bread coffee or tea (seen some fruit there once as well).

There's a cafe on Raadhuisstraat just past the Singel called Jennys or Jennifer which does a good breakfast and is always worth a stop.
