Octavious's Dam Adventure. Day 1

Post by Octavious »

Me and my brother arrived at 7:30pm at Eindhoven Airport and got on the bus to Eindhoven Station took give or take 20 - 30mins. Boarded the train to dam at 8:35pm and didnt arrive till just gone 10pm    ( I will never go to Amsterdam via Eindhoven again it just takes too too long, The whole point of doing the eindhoven route was to save money. I will definatly pay the extra and go to Schipol in the future!!! Got to our hotel around 10:20pm dumped our luggage and then headed off to KFC to get a munch bearing in mind we left to go to Stanstead Airport via Victoria around 12:40 and got the easybus from Victoria to the airport that took us 2hrs to get there too long in my opinion not having anything to eat so you can understand how hungery we was. Finally got to KFC, ate and while we were eating saw this man (he looked like a turk or cypriot looking guy) who ordered 18 yes 18!! chicken wings and he ate every one! We had just finished our food when the same guy got up and started to kick off with one of the employees but because I dont understand dutch but the bits of broken english I did understand was something along the lines of " Im gonna kick your ass you ...... (somthing else in dutch!) bastard! We headed off to Resin and got 3grms of Resin Haze @ 14.75 euros grm, the lady behind the counter said it was the strongest weed they had. We went upstairs and started rolling not a bad smoke but I was looking for better. We left to go to Kadinskys and got 3grms of LA Con @ 13.75 a grm. We would have stayed but it was pretty packed downstairs and couldnt be arsed to go upstairs so headed back to the hotel to chill out. A bit dissapointed with the LA Con and quite frankly thought I got shafted but what can you do. Day 2 coming soon.

I had better luck with a bus from Eindhoven airport to Centraal Station direct. You're right Schipol is a better option, but if you have to fly in via Ryan, try the bus direct next time. It was under an hour.

lol @ 18 chicken wings guy!

I take it you don't like trains, 2 hours would be a short journey for me! I used to travel from London to Dundee which often took about 9 hours!!

I tried to fly into Eindhoven last week with Ryanair, and due to fog they couldnt land and diverted us to Weeze in Germany. Then we sat on abus for 90 mins back to Eindhoven airport. you got lucky.
