I'm wondering if any ACD members play poker online? I love playing poker; Texas Hold 'em, to be more precise. Where do you play? I just started playing online about 3 months ago, over at Reefer Poker. It's a pot related poker site. So far, I've been having a great time with like-minded players. I win a few and lose more than a few.

Peace and good luck at the tables.

stew, Yes, I use the same handle over at Reefer Poker. If you start playing at RP let me know your handle so I can look out for you.

I only play small stakes as well. I cant afford to lose
too much.

I play the sit n go's also (9 or 6 seater) with the 25c/50c blinds.
I'm sure I get a little too stoned while playing also but I never forget if I have a winning hand or not.

Hope to have the pleasure of
pokering with you, stew! One Love.

i have been playing poker for a few years now and I even won a seat to play at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in '07. i play mostly online and have won some big tournaments (bought in for $15.50 and won first prize $10.5K) but i havent touched a card or a chip in several months, money is too tight (the 10.5K is being saved not used for more poker)

Seems like we have a few players here. I too love the game and play regularly. I play at absolute and reefer poker. So if you see badfrog or badfrog62, give out a shout.

I love to play poker, haven't really dabbed too much in the online thing. Nothing like sitting at a full table and seeing and interacting with the other players. I used to hold a game once or twice a week in my basement. Had it all decked out like a casino down there for a while. Also got into a very expensive hobby of collecting and piecing together playable casino chip sets.

You must be good, Nirvana. Really good!

Or you have Lady Luck on your side.

Congrats on your big $10.5k win! I sure do hear ya when you say money is too tight. I think it's the same way for many folks. Did you play at WSOP in '07? Peace.

THANX. honestly puff, it always has to be a little bit of both! no one wins a big tournament without being good AND winning the races, one unlucky card and you can be done. I did go to and play at event #49 NL Texas HE $1500 buy in at the WSOP '07 but didnt make it past day one. there were over 3000 starters and at that point it was the 3rd largest NLHE tourney in history, only behind 2 main events (its now i think the 5th largest behind this years first event and the ME). I did have to beat 750 others to win the seat and travel costs, so even that is an accomplishment! peace

I try.
It's an old joke, but funny as shit when you hear it the first time. And, if you play it right, it's almost as good as a well timed "your mama" joke.
Cheers stu,
chuck.

I would like to add even if you asked her how many times her love flower has been pollenated, she will probably lie. So you might as well dive right on in, remember to wrap your wacker before you attack her and you can pretend that this girl you've just met is as clean as a whistle.
Peace
