Knetter's Trip

My sister and I received this trip as a gift from her husband, I must say even though I knew it would be good, it was better than I anticipated. We stayed at the barbizon palace, little did we know it was considered to be in the "red-light district", the location of the hotel was perfect. the shops we visited were good, some were very outstanding, we did not manage to make it to to many of the other side of town shops as we liked our "area".
I was a little concerned about being ran over by a bicycle, the weather was cold and rainy, but heck who cared. We found the little quiet shops off the beaten path, to treat us a little better than the "tourist" shops, we managed to get up and out early, have a treat, go to breakfast, go to "feels good", get our day started, then proceed from there, have dinner somewhere, go to "feels good", and back to the hotel, we were all over the place, and I do not think there could be a bad location to stay at.
dam square is cool, rembrandt square pretty cool, but I like centre, just seems best for me...looking forward to returning,,,
