June/ July

Post by Epsilon »

Wondering if anyone can comment on the differences in Holland between the two months ...regarding Weather -Is it noticably warmer in July than June, Crowds - more tourists ? ... Does the fact that the children are out of school there make any difference ? ...or any other things you can think of that make July a better/worse choice ...Thanks

I've been there at the beginning of June, and another time during the end of July/ beginning of August. Honestly, I didn't see much of a difference in temperature. It was extremely warm there both times for Amsterdam, and I live in a very warm climate so coming from me that says a lot.

Prices were also about the same as I recall, and I was in coffeeshops mostly, so I didn't notice if I saw more children or not, but if there would have been more than usual, seems I definitely would have noticed it.

Go with whatever time is good for you and where you can get the best deal, really.
