FUNNY PEOPLE NOT SO FUNNY
Stay Away from Funny People, the muscle head behind the counter is a steroid junky; he does not like tourists of any sort.

Went into funny people the other day, nice little place. The budtender was very friendly, didn't stay, was only buying and flying, liked the look of the inside though, wood, very much like 420, with a smoking room. Bought cheese for €11.50g and Funny Skunk for €7.50g. Cheese was ok, not worth buying from here really, but the funny skunk is absolutely lovely. Nice high and a strong flavour and smell. Well worth a buy.

Post people complain about Funny People. Goes to show, each coffeeshop can be good and bad.
I try to avoid 'house skunks'. If they look appealing though I give it a sample.

I was in here twice. The first time I bought a gram of Northern Lights. The budtender sold me some weed that was old, stale, dark, smelled bad, looked bad, tasted bad. It was definitely NOT Northern Lights. But it got me high for twice as long as any other weed I've ever bought in A'dam.
The second time, I asked for the same weed. I got something different again. It seemed light (less than a gram). Both budtenders were polite though, which was a surprise, as I have read many bad reviews of this place.

Went in here on our last night just before we got back to the hotel and only went in to nose about, asked him if he has SSH and showed me some other weeds saying his was the best in Amsterdam and that names mean nothing. Showed me the White Widow and the Northern lights sticking it in my face saying you aint seen weed like this before. Anyway we bought 1g white widow and smoked the Gram in the shop, very rude guy and stood outside the shop all the time we where there. Nobody else in but us at the end i told him what i thought of his weed and he just stared at me like i was joking with him. Its always an experience in Amsterdam, we knew before we went in this shop it was gonna be rank bet hey we didnt mind as iy was the nearest shop to us.

I bet it was the same guy who was giving me grief last time I was there. Won't go back. I was even using what little Dutch I knew and being very polite.
I do remember getting some very good NL once but there are plenty of better places that will treat you right. Hunter's is just around the corner

Hi guys Ive finally (kind of) learnt how an internet forum works ( cyberspace twists my melon! ), so I know Ive posted this before - but mistakenly under a new topic - so Im just ammending my mistake by deleting re posting etc etc.
I adore this coffee shop, it has top, top weed and I find the people there friendly, but not in your face.
They just leave you to it, except for coming round now and then to see if you need any thing. I've noticed people commment about them not liking tourists but I'm from the uk and I was with 4 other british subjects, Ive also been smoking many years so Im not a "nube" thats easily impressed. Ive also been visiting the dam for 17 years and to be honest its my fav of all, dont get me wrong I only found this one several years ago and there are a lot for good places but this my favourite nook.
I am a really fussy lady but I'll will return there again and again!

are you afraid you can't keep yourself under control and start sucking everybody off?
narrow minded weirdos like you cause a lot more bad experiences than anybody who fancies the same gender.
