Did anyone get good photos of the sculpture at Powerzone?

Post by madman »

I'm the chainsaw sculptor that carved the wooden sculpture at the Powerzone. I did it for the winner of the cup in the woods of Lage Vuursche during a little get together with my chainsaw carving family in The Netherlands and Belgium. But I have a problem, I don't know how to reach Arjan who won the sculpture that was on display to the left of the stage at the Powerzone. I never got a finished photo of the piece because I was to tired after carving and finishing it all day before delivery. Now I'm writing an article about this for our chainsaw carving post to share with my carving family around the world and I need good photos of it for the article I'm going to write for our newsletter on the West Coast. We have a Rendezvous in the mountains of Ridgway,Pennsyvania where hundreds of chainsawsculptors from around the world come to meet and greet and share with each other. If you have any good photos of the sculpture setting at stage left please share them with me for my article for the carvers around the world to view. My email is madport@aol.com I'm commissioned to go to England and carve for Big Budda Cheese in the coming year. Thank you for helping me out. It was a five day labor in Lage Vuursche with carvers from all other the Netherlands and one carver from Belgium who got together with the help of Dave Harmsworth and Dik Van Overs to do a demonstation event all day November 22. I hope to continue this donating a sculpture to the winner of the Cannabis Cup in the coming years. I carved a replica of the cup last year and delivered it to Barney's. No one met me because I was on a mission and didn't make it to the presentation. I met up with Derry after the Cup this year and talked with him about the sculpture I did for him last year. He was very greatful and gave me some seeds. I happened to catch Arjan as he left the stage this year and presented him with the sculpture. He was overwhelmed with it and treated myself and my friend with me to an array of his product at the Greenhouse. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with getting a good photo for my article I'm writing for our newsletter before we have our Rendezvous in the mountains of Ridgway,PA. I'm already starting to figure out what to carve for next years winner of the cup. I believe it will be a larger than life Bob Marley Bust. Take care my fellow tokers and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you. Thank you for the help. :) I should be back in Amsterdam around 4/20 on my way to compete in Berlin, Germany in an international chainsaw carving event. Hopefully I can with the help of fellow carvers there in The Netherlands carve in Vondel Park or the Artis Zoo in the future. I'm coming to Amsterdam before I compete in Berlin and will come back to Amsterdam after the competition for Queens Day. Then off to England and carve for Big Budda Cheese at their home base. I miss you Amsterdam.

if you call one of the greenhouse shops they'll be able to put you in touch with Arjan I would have thought, they are his shops.
