Tell me about it. The only good purple I had was back home, not it the dam. And even then I didn't know where it came from!

I found some in bulldoggy palace, when i went in feb 08. Pre rolled in a colourful pack. i remember it was nasty tastin and the effect was very meek. i also believe it was the most pricy stuff which i smoked that week.

imo its always been crap and always will be!

its a novelty smoke in the dam, for all thoughs who aint got a clue about bud, the see this "purple haze" on the menu and think "wow purple!" and the dealer has made money from crap weed!

from what i can remember, it is a genetic defect within the plant that turns it purple, seen as it was mainly grown outside this REALLY helped hide it!!!!

with 'dam strains, thats what i believe too.

i once had a purple plant from a batch of 10 non purple seeds. the buzz of excitment that stuff created at parties and with my friends when i whipped out the purple baggie, was funny, becuase it was exactly the same as the other stuff.

purple weed is pretty to behold, but ultimatly i think a really sticky tri covered nugget of some crazy green is far better looking.

Purple Haze on the Menu's is not for people who have "No Clue".

I buy some Purple Haze every trip. Now don't get me wrong, it is nearly always complete crap, and most are outdoors, but there is no current weed that produces the same sort of high as PH.

It may not be very strong, but I love the effect. If anyone ever sold me a fake PH, believe me, I would know. Becuase of the low quality of PH in Amsterdam, I tend to buy it as the weed for my tulips when I make them. You still get pretty stoned when you've got 3 grams in a tulip, no matter how shit it is ;)

If there was a shop with good quality PH, I would buy it very often. As it is, I just have to wait and get the odd semi-decent outdoor batch in the summer.

I've always wanted to try purple haze because of the "trippy?" effect, how does it actually feel? Hallucinations of any kind?

Also, I'm sure there's a way to make it stronger through selective breeding, and surprised that shops in Adam don't bother doing it :(

You get a visual haze, like many good sativa's, but the effect on audio is amazing too. I think, for me, the most amzing part of the high is the total feeling of love that washes over you, it is like a mini trip in that respect, you love everything, and you get a nice visual haze, but not really hallucinations, none more so than any good strong sativa. Audio hallucinations definitely, makes music wonderful to behold.
