I used to have a cat once called Smokey.
I swear she was bi-lingual as my mum used to speak to her in Punjabi, and she'd respond!

some more great names.. this is gonna be hard.. im just about to eat some dinner.. afterwords i will compile a list for the polling.

My cats have been called
Fluff, Skunk,and rizla. Currently have a dog called Buds oh and hate to tell you but that cat is deffo Ginger.

LOL...I once had a dog called Rizla (cos he kept chewing 'em up,the bugger

)and a big black cat named Squidgy Black...

Maybe its more to do with tone of voice, like with dogs?
you know, you can slag off a dog and tell them how stupid they are etc etc, but if your tone of voice is the same as when you praise them they cant tell the difference

You're probably right mate, but it was still hilarious.
Despite being female, my cat had balls of steel (She took on an Alsation once), but when my mum spoke to her, she'd listen, whatever language it was in!

I used to have a beautifull cat called Kiffy, or Kiff for short.
He was white with a black spot on his head.
I found him dead outside my backdoor.. i think evil Stan from next door did for him.
I have a photo of him sitting on my dustbin with some a couple of plants.. i will try and dig it out and post it. meow...
