Anyone know of any good sites where I can transfer photos from my forthcoming trip and then submit a link on this forum so that y'all can see them?
There's a photo album thing on my AOL homepage, so I'll maybe use that if someone can show me the ropes?
Feel free to suggest sites other than my homepage.

Thanks guys

I use Photobucket.com. Pretty simple site. Have fun.

Looks good enough for me.
At least now I won't have to rely on AOL (Assholes On Line)
I know the A is supposed to stand for America and the assholes I am referring to are the so called support staff on the so called helplines (who are definitely not Americans)

I've always found Webshots to be the utmost in quality and "free".

Some top quality shots there and I'm surprised you managed to get all those menus as well.
I was under the impression that the coffeeshops wouldn't allow that.
Also didn't know that some sites actually charge you for using their space but I suppose it must happen otherwise the internet wouldn't be the money spinner that it is today.
My trip is from 27th March - 3rd April, so by the time I've told all my stories and basically come back down to earth, you're probably talking about a week later before my words and pictures appear.
At this moment in time I would say that my pictures would be mostly of a geographical nature rather than botanical but I'll do my best to mix em up well
Could always go for live daily "text only" posts from Amsterdam with the pictures to follow when I get back. That will give me all the more reason to get up off my ass when I'm there and not veg all the time.

lectricity -Enjoyed browsing your photos ,the Ballontje mirror shot is cool... looks like a good site for pix ...
I found the imagecave site which lets you store 10 megs worth of pix. I don't know that its any better or worse (actually looks worse,or I never built a home page like lectricity) than the webshots site. But it is there to be used.

Right On Guys!
Appreciate all the kind words on the pics. If anyone could/should appreciate them it's the fine crew 'round here.
Xefian. Your photos are top notch! Thanks for sharing.
IMNSHO Webshots is the greatest for their resolution, menu design and overall ease of use. Not to mention "Free", the best part.
In reference to menu pics. Seems to me 80% of the Budtenders were more than cool with it. That said, there were some that weren't so cool. No big deal. I figure you've already got a "No", so why not roll for the "Yes!".
"Please", "Thank You" and a generally polite and unintrusive attitude go a long way. And... of course, a purchase is most definitely part of it all.
Have a Grande Trip!

Will definitely be posting some photos and I will use webshots as my host so thanks for the link.
Six weeks away still but the anticipation is already in full swing
