Fried Chicken
Frangos is piri piri, I often go at home. I recently noticed the one in the pijp, will check out next time.
they may well do fried chicken too the one i use does, these franchises rarely differ.
Chicken shops are hard to come by in my experience, excluding kfc which i aint a fan of either, there certainly aint a sams on every corner.
also non existent is jamaican food it seems, often fiended for some curry goat and a few red stripes to no avail out there. The guys at basjoes are gonna put me on to some surinam food shop next time.

cheers mate, i know of this as de duivel is my local when in town .
i have looked into it in the past , if i recall correctly its more of a actual sit down restuarant , as opposed to the more cafe type spots im used too. possibly it was maybe more hispanic caribbean too. ill have another look into it. thanks again.
there was also rum runners which was near anne frank huis , but could never actually find it and think may now be gone.

Hands down the best fried chicken in my opinion is Pollo Campero. It's like the Guatemalan version of KFC and is muy delicioso!
Popeye's is good too, a spicy 2 piece with honey drizzled over 'em and some cajun fries. Oh yeah!
The "hood chicken spots" are usually the best too. The Crown Fried, Kansas Fried, Kennedy Fried, Obama Fried, etc. spots are a dime a dozen around my way and always have slammin' food and it's dirt cheap.

Before anything, get the daily dose of choke.....
i have often wondered why i've haven't seen a nando's in amsterdam, nearly all the nando's i've seen all around the world are aways packed, recently been to ones in australia and new zealand and it was just as good over there as it in here, i mean in london they are springing up every where an all are busy, if i had a bit of spare cash would love to set up the first francise in dam, just imagine how much money we could make - anyone interested.
will have to try this Frangos and see if it stands up

Popeye's isn't bad, especially compared to KFC, but here in Portland the Popeye's fried chicken is so freaking greasy! You squeeze a breast, and the grease just drips off. It does taste good though.FenixNYC wrote:Hands down the best fried chicken in my opinion is Pollo Campero. It's like the Guatemalan version of KFC and is muy delicioso!

I used to live in Binghamton NY and they had a Kennedy fried chicken too. Wonder if it's the same as the one you were talking about? Their chicken rocked!

I'm currently looking for business opportunities in NL. I did a search on Nando's and according to their website, their franchise policy/rules only allow to open in a few certain countries (couple of the ones you mentioned) probably the reason you haven't found one in NL.smokyk wrote:if i had a bit of spare cash would love to set up the first francise in dam, just imagine how much money we could make - anyone interested.
