So basically it is like a coop or cartel to assure consistency in exchange for better price. I really really needed to have been born wealthy.

It's worth the extra money. I had some from the New Dampkiring recently (a name along the lines of Dalahi Alab) and it was absolutely beautiful, stony, physical hash.

Not being wealthy sure doesn't mean I dont spend way too much on cannabis. When my son and I were in the Dam, if I had to estimate how much I spent on hash and weed, I would probably be sucking on a gun right now. A conservative guess would be that in 5 days, I spent nearly 800 US dollars on hash & weed. One thing a person from the US needs to constantly remind themselves...you're taking out Euro amounts on your ATM card, so that 250 you just took out is nearly 400 bucks back home. (I refuse to show my wife the January bank statement. If I did, I'd be single before finishing this post).
Even sadder, I don't have to be in Amsterdam to spend mightily on weed...in the last week, Ive spent $520 US dollars on an oz and 1/4. That's not a normal week of course...if it was, I could afford to go to the Dam every month just as easily...but I do spend much more than I wish I did. Having said that, I would still go to the Dam if I only had 50 Euro to spend. 2 weeks ago, in fact, I established an Amsterdam savings account to feed monthly till next Feb, and hopefully another off-season party will be on.

Ah screw the money....What Amsterdam needs is a Disabled expat from the US, who has established means (to an extent), who grew up on a farm with 4 greenhouses and also has extensive botanical genetics experience!

rifman hash is one of the nicest hashes u can get in town!!! But the Quality is not every time the same... most of the time it´s excellent but sometimes nothing special. Ask the Dealer what has the best quality at the moment. One time the Dealer at Tweede Kammer told me that he is not happy with the Rifmans at the moment... he showed me the Super Tbisla and it was of really fine quality (no Rifman Hash).
But most of the time (99%) the quality of the rifman hashes is superb. Last Week I was in Adam the Malika (soft & very oily YAM) and the Noor was realy great quality... the Super Tbisla (a little bit harder one... very nice maroc taste, strong and with a high oil content) was nice, too.
The best imported hash I ever had was a Rifman, too. The Rifman´s Christmas Special for 18€/g (in 2007) was so unbeliveable oily, stincky and so tasty... but I never had some ultra nice hash again.

Agreed. When TK had Rifman at 8 euros it was blinding beautiful hash.
