I've heard loads about spain being cannabis friendly. I was wondering if anyone could direct me to any extremely pot friendly cities?

The cannabis friendly part most likely applies to the islands off the coast of Spain (Balearic, Canaries) etc where club 18-30 is the order of the day.

Plenty of street vendors willing to help (or hinder) you. Known as looky-looky and mostly from Africa.

Most certainly in mainland Spain you will find that use of cannabis in public, as in many other countries, could result in your arrest by "el guardia"

As i understand it...there are several larger cities where herb is essentially de-criminalized. Never been soo i don't know for sure, but thats is what i've herad.

I've been to Barcelona and I smelt weed a few times but never saw anyone I'd approach, the guy who owns the Willie Wortel chain in Haarlem (Nol Van Shaik) is in the process of starting a cannabis community in Spain.

Heard a lot on this site about how the Dutch police won't hesitate to kick the shit out of you if they feel you deserve it.

Spanish police are no different and they are ESPECIALLY intolerant to tourists who break the law.

I've been to Ibiza three times and Mallorca once and it was easy to score smoke there without ever seeing any police around anywhere. They just seemed to let all the happy clubbers get on with it and only in the event of a FULL SCALE RIOT would they leave the comfort of the station for the vomit stained streets of San Antonio or Magaluf.
