Amsterdam from April 2nd to the 11th

Hello all,

I plan on being in Amsterdam from the 2nd of April till the 11th. This is my first time going there and i'm gonna be with a friend of mine who doesn't smoke, but sure is fun to be around with ( i'm hoping he'll come around ) I'm going to be staying at the American Hotel, as a friend of mine recommended that I stay there as it is close to some "good coffee shops" as he put it.

As this is my first time to Amsterdam, I have a few concerns. First off, my major concerns are finding the right coffee shop to chill in. Second, I'm not that great of a roller ( my friends back here have always done that job for me, and right now, I obviously regret this right now ) The joints i've rolled here are all hash, so its going to be my first time rolling a weed joint, and i'm just worried im gonna screw that up.

I'm sorry if i posted it at the wrong location, but these thoughts have been bothering me as the trip nears !

not sure what you're into but I recommend highly the 420 De Kuil cafe for chilling anytime. There are dozens to be sure to chill in but this place has a friendly waitstaff and good music (more obscure Classic Rock - Frank Zappa), and it's close to the Central area. They have bongs, pipes, and vaporizers to lend out. I'll be hanging there most nights I go out. I will be in town from Mar 14 through April 3rd.

Make sure you dont buy pre rolled joints, by the end of the first day im sure u will have worked out how to roll the perfect joint.

When going in Coffeeshops you dont have to stay there or buy anything if you dont feel the vibe is right or the weed good. Homegrown Fantasy and GreenPlace are good shops to hit, good weed and nice places to chill.

Hey man, i hear what your saying about going to the right places etc. Me and 3 of my mates will be in amsterdam from 1st april til the 4th and we would be happy to show u a few decent places, teach u how to roll aswell!!

Were all students but been to amsterdam like 5 or 6 times so we know the script out there.
