I looked at the member list, it lists us all in order of when we joined, it seems.

As #451, does that mean I have to wait for 450 other members to leave the list to assume the duties of head head?

 I'd have to wait for 84 people to fall off the earth.

BTW - I've made it to post 100!

Maybe, we will see a 1000 members by years end. Who knows?

Member number 418 reporting for duty!

I used to be part of a forum where your membership would be taken away if you didn't post regularly enough after you joined.

Was nothing to do with Amsterdam, was an online games site with a forum attached and it became clear that a lot of the members on the site actually knew each other personally, so they had their own little gang going and they didn't want any outsiders coming in unless you were shit hot at the games (which I wasn't to be honest).

Point being that I love the way this site is run so that your membership remains active no matter how many times you visit the forum after becoming a member and everyone is super helpful no matter how close together they are in the physical world as opposed to the virtual world on which this forum exists.

And by a country mile as well.

Not wanting to blow my own trumpet or anything, but I believe that my POSTS PER DAY total could well be the highest and that even includes all the dudes who have recently joined with all their introduction posts and so on.

Still, I have only been here a month and what a month it has been. I'm sure the posts per day thing will start to drop, especially after I return from Amsterdam when all my questions will have been answered. I think the questions that I have asked (and the answers I have received) could surely cover just about everything that a first time Dammer would want to know.

Can't see your total posts score being challenged in the foreseeable future.

I suppose actually knowing as much as you do about the majority of topics covered must be a major factor in such a high score.

Always thought Lemming would have the highest amount of posts with all the admin and technical site stuff he handles.

Member #19 chiming in with this...

On a good day any one of us could theoretically be the "Head" head. It's all about quality contributions, of which many have and continue to be made.

Time for another doob in celebration of ACD's growth.

#243 is a lot lower than I thought I was, but any lower and I would be in danger of having to assume the responsibilities of those ahead of me in the case of a nuclear strike or other accident of mass proportions.
