I believe it is done in the US, but more to gather FURTHER evidence, even the Yank government couldn't justify paying $5000+ an hour to fly a chopper around looking for hotspots that 95% of the time will be other things than grows.

There is an answer it seems now..people have been making them for a while but they now produce and sell Cool Tubes. So with mylar and decent extraction aswell there shouldn't be any excuse for a hot grow room :p

Nahhhh, we're really good at wasting money :-)

But it's not the "Yank government" doing this, but city and county law enforcement. I'm sure there were federal funds that helped it along, but it's not a blanket policy by the federal government. Local law enforcement could choose whether or not to pursue it.

Nowadays, with the methamphetamine epidemic raging, hopefully those funds are diverted to programs which will stop something that actually harms a great number of people.

That shit is poison - created from poisons, and cooked up in rural America by toothless inbred fools who couldn't bake a cake, let alone create something that requires the services of a real chemist to do properly.

Here you go guys a couple of pics of the finished cabinet

Another with the outside lights off. You can see the light escaping, Im just in the middle of sorting that out.

Gonna make a curtain of sorts out of some doubled up diamond mylar and some normal heavy fabric 2moro wen the shop is open again.

Any comments would be nice.
Im gonna start a growlog on another thread at the end of the week. That way you can all watch their progress

You certainly took the term grow cabinet very literally. Looks nice through. It's good that you're doing everything right and proper, I can foresee things working out well for you. =D

See how this grow works out and i might patent the design

Dunno if im gonna use the blue and the red for flowering as it is throwing out some heat. With just the blue going a steady 92 degrees with the doors shut. Open and they drop 2 around 85-87. I could do with buying an RVK asap.

gotta get the sealed up, cause if light is coming out light will be going in and you can't have that come flowering time.

is there any exhaust ventilation? that would help with the heat i think.

also what kinda medium you gonna use? hydro? soil?

Im using a 50% B&Q multipurpose compost 30% coco and 20% perlite with some hydroclay mulch on top. As for ventilation i have 10 1cm holes on top just now and if i pull the bottom drawer out that lets out another 2 degrees. I aint that concerned about the light just now as the cab is in a small room that gets no light anyway. I just want 2 be able 2 shut the doors and maintain a nice temp all the time. I got an old computer im gonna take the fan out of and tinker with hopefully get a result with that.

Yeah man get some extraction going on!! It gets rid of the heat nicely.

Try to sort those leaks tho mate. it might be a dark room but if ANY light makes it in during your 12 hours of darkness you will struggle to get the little ladies hormones going

For all those who have been missing my grow. I have 1 lowryder and 1 master kush. this is both of them 24 days under 12/12 light regime.

If you are growing lowryder n 12/12 you will lose yield, not that lr yield much but it does much better under 18 hours.

I got 8 females from 10 lowyryder seeds(1 dud 1 male)there is a very easy way of increasing fem/male ratio, just a few steps that has seen me with only 2 males out of the last 12 plants.

Enviros are great for vegging(I use a 200w blue) but not as good for flower, if you could get a 250w cool tube/air cooled on your cab with sufficient vetilation you will yield twice as much.

with a 250 hps my friend yields 9oz per grow in a wardrobe.
