Pancakes

Post by TwoCanucks »

I love pancakes, usually two or three times a week especially on vacation.

I've only heard of the english breakfast and toasties.

Any thoughts on pancakes, doesnt need to be an Ihop or such...just looking for a smoke and cake breakky.

I think that's where I went w/Sly Crayon before the Willie Nelson concert last year.
Great pancakes big as hubcaps if I remember correctly.

Great spot!! I love how the regular pancakes are on a small section in the bottom corner.

Have added that to our list, thanks again FLY!

Very troubling. Looks like someone had a bad case of the bad munchies.

As the picture shows, Dutch pancakes are quite different than American / IHOP style. More crepe like than our fluffy pancakes.

I can't get used to the English breakfasts. Can't get past eating beans for breakfast. I prefer the Dutch breakfasts with bread, meats and cheese (sometimes some scrambled eggs).

there is a "pancake carusell " next to mellow yellow and little. it´s on the crossroad, you can´t miss it! you´re not allowed to smoke there, but it´s really just 1min walk from my! very delicous and a wide variety of pancakes to choose from!
when you look at the acd map, it´s where weteringschans and vijzelstraat meet!

My favorite Dutch word is "Poffertjes"

The simple ones with just butter and powdered sugar is all you need... :D
You can not
overdose on THC...

I've tried...

I had some Poffertjes on queens day last year..they were good but I was walking against the wind and the white powder kept blowing all over me and my dark blue jacket, making me look like a dumbass.

The Poffertjes remind me of the beignet in the French Quarters of New Orleans, Cafe De Monde. Just the picture of course. I will have to try them to see if they taste the same
