I see previous post put into a new post and the new comments below. How do you do that?????

Just click on the "quote" button, in the upper right hand corner of the message, chilly. That's the easy way, without having to use html (hyper text markup language).

You need to make sure that you have "allow BBCode" switched on in your profile or the post. It is on by default but if you turn it off then quotes, URLs, etc. won't work (you can't use real HTML, incidentally, even with this turned on). chilly1952 - it looks like you've turned off BBCode in your profile. Let me know if you need help turning it back on.

Just seeing if i could do it seems easy enough.

Quote the post and then just delete what you dont want, so if I just want part of the one above I can change it to this:

just have another go

find a short and simple message in this thread with no other quoted bits in it

then quote it and type something like 'EASY STUFF' in the middle of the message

for example

then select the Preview button to see what your edit looks like

then select the Submit button to post your message
