Rooting hormones which are used in this process are powdered; All the organic versions I have seen are liquid, including the method you are discribing and the cow horn method I have been tought (liquid after the process of extraction or in my method you have to mix it with water for it to work.)
I have a packet of "organic" clone rooting hormone, but it is not licenced, endorced or has the organic certification seal by the british agricultral association.

In the video, when he shows the "organic powder" in the hopper, it is white.
Most organic substances, even when dried, do not turn white. They are usally a more natural brown or black colour.
But amsterdam may have a diffrent system in place, which may mean that they are allowed to use rooting hormone and it would still be in perameters of their organic certification system.

:D Our kid has been on these colored seeds for a while and swears by them.
