Disappointed

Post by DoctorJim »

The second closest shop to our apartment, I had heard nothing but great reviews from this forum. Visited twice, the guys at the counter were very friendly and helpful, and the shop had a good atmosphere.

Tried their "best" hash - Super Morroc 2.2g 12.50E. Lost any interest in hash for the rest of the week! Tasted nice but that was the only positive attribute, barely a buzz.

Stopped in one evening looking for something sleepy. Again the guys were great and suggested their Edelwiesse Indica. Potency was excellent but it left you waking stressed from an unpleasant dream state. One for the rubbish bin (isn't Amsterdam a great place - you can do it without feeling any remorse!)

This was our ONLY bad experience with anything over the week, and twice in a row... The shop and staff were great but the product totally sucked.

Visited here only once but enjoyed it. As we arrived it seemed to be filling up but mainly with people queuing for weed :D

Only bought drinks here as like i mentioned the weed que was getting big quick. Had some good tunes on and we got to watch the crowds outside rushing about in their daily life, top stuff.

hope someone answers
hello :)
I'm going to holland on the 25th
now I'm not going to be in amsterdam
but I thought that between my train to amsterdam from schiphol and the train to my other location I'd stop off for a quick joint and maybe buy some extra stuff :)
my time window between the 2 trains isn't that much.. so I thought I'd go for the nearest coffee shop (that being Central)

I was thinking of buying some hash (not weed)
can anyone recommend of their best hash there?
I'd really appreciate a quick answer
hope you do :)

thanks a lot!

Bit late but the PH89 is one of the nicest smelling weeds, I picked some up for a mate who flew in a couple of days later than me, I didn't try any but as soon as I hear what its like I'll post!

watch your weights

Stopped in at Central on my way home from town today to purchase some AK-47 but unfortunately they didn't have any (booooo!!!!!).
I asked the friendly "menumaster" if he could recommend something with equal strength to the AK and I left with 2.4g of Star Dust for € 12.50.
When I got home I thought i'd throw the deal on the ol' scales as on closer inspection it seemed a little small.
I was right - the deal barely made 2.3g - the display flickered between 2.2 & 2.3.
Tut, Tut Central!!!

Anyway, besides the wieght issue the Star Dust turned out to be just as the dude said - pretty much as strong as AK-47.
After smokin' a Joint and supping my tea I was kinda glued to the chair but my mind was racing - Phew, powerful stuff.

Hmmmm - time for another...

Top weed guys - just watch your weights...

Think I stumbled across this place on the last day of my last visit to the Dam after returning from an Ajax match the Amsterdam ArenA. Bought a coffee and rolled a joint from stash I already had. Staff didn't seem to mind about this but i didn't stay too long after the joint was finished. I had bags to pack and souvenir shopping to do.

Would I be right in saying that it is a rather small shop with minimal decor (wooden tables and chairs) and when you approach the counter the dealer automatically opens a wooden briefcase sort of thing?

:? Can someone tell me if I'm right? :?

I've heard some good stuff about this place since becoming a member of the forum and it's close proximity to Centraal Station could make it a possible stop off point next time

That Stardust looks mighty tasty, I tried some K2, Buddha, Orange Bud and White Russian and I must say they were all tasty buds, I noticed that all the weeds now 'weigh' either 2.4 or 4.8 grams so not to put the prices up they've brought the grammage down.

Went in Central on Sunday as soon as I got off the train. I bought 2.4 grammes of Orange Bud and 2.4 grammes of Silver pearl, both nice smokes. It was pretty loud and busy on Sunday afternoon but as soon as I got 2 the counter the weed menu was opened for me and what a great choice it was.

Definitely sounds like a good place in a good location with good deals. Could be just what I'm looking for in the event of a shortage.
