I like Central but I did get really stung there once. I was still a bit of a novice and I went in with my girlfriend straight off the train. I asked them for their finest Sativa and i must have come across as a bit of a prick because the guy sold me his strongest couch lock Indica. I skinned up a large joint and puffed away. My girlfriend does not smoke so i had the whole thing. I managed to get up afterwards but as soon as i got out off the door my legs turned to concrete. It felt like i was trying to walk on the bottom of a swimming pool. This was all made worse by the fact that i was carrying all off our luggage. It seemed to take me hours to make the short trip to the Globe hostel. I was a little pissed off but I saw the funny side of it. I would definitely recommend the place. They have great deals. You get value for money here.

We made our first visit in here recently, only made one purchase of Edelwiess but it was the 2nd worst purchase of the trip... a very plain smoke, nothing special but at 25E for the 4 grams it was cost effective.

I voted I didn't like this store mostly because of it's size and it always seems to be packed out each time we went over the holiday but it does have it's uses.

8) I think the central is a great little coffeeshop and that is the only problem with it ,a little bit small.

Potty, you think this place is small?
I'd say this is more your average sized coffeeshop, there are many others here that are tiny in comparison.
Take Grey Area for instance - there's barely enough room to swing the proverbial cat!

btw.
central is not a good shop, they may be friendly but their bags are under weight and the weed on the whole is pretty average. :(

I love this place for the view out of the window alone, that and the great box menu!. Kind of freaked out on my last trip (feb 07) to be minding my own buisness having a coffee and a smoke of my Bombay Black (or is that Black Bombay? lol) looking out of my seat at the window to notice a bus that said "Arriva" on the side just like we got back home!!!.

Bloody hell, that bus firm gets everywere lol.

Anyone know of the mention on the forums some weeks ago if it's true they dont allow you to smoke here any longer (making it a pick-up only cs) or if it's still ok if it's pure on mixed with non-tobacco?.

Dave, I read it's 100% carry out now, no smoking of anything inside.

On my last trip i decided i would drop in and grab a bag for the journey to my hotel. Pushed the door open and was confronted by a skinny dude who tried to push me back out the door. Confused i quickly said sorry as i thought i had opened the door on him or something. His responce was plain and simple F*#k off. To be honest i could not beleive my ears so i step outside and ask wots up? To be told again F*#k off again. By now i was getting upset but at the same time trying to calm myself down. I said i want some take out m8 nothing else. This time he told me F*#k off tourist so thats what i did straight on a tram to a decent c/s.
been here many times before with no probs and never seen this guy b4 in there so godknows who he was.
So thumbs down for me!

I know i was so stunned. Never been spoken to like that b4 in the Dam and i have been going for well over 10 years at least 3 times a year.
I wont even give it a look in future. Shame coz i thought there gear was not too bad depending on choice.

I am very pleased to report this shop is back to how it was a few years ago. The dealer was friendly and the gear good quality and value.

As was traditional in the old shops they sell fixed value (€12) deals out of a large display box. You get 0.6g of isolator for your money and it blow my mate away. It was probably the best hash of my short trip.

You can still buy a coffee and smoke in the shop - agree it has always attracted some unusual local characters, especially very early in the morning (I think it still opens at 07:00). Mind you I have met some VERY weird tourists.
