I was lucky enough to find this site about a month or so ( I think )before we went on our trip.
And although I think you shouldn't put to much thought into exactly what your going to do and where your going to do it when you get there , this site ( trip , shops , strain , travel , food reports ) gave us some very useful info.
My next trip will unfortunatly not be for over a year from now , but i'll be keeping a good eye out on here for all latest happenings in Amsterdam.
Sending out the good vibes to those that need them right now :-)

We seem to have a very strong north east london presence on this forum,

Woodford, anyone?

and yes this forum is something wonderful, I have been a member of a couple of different forums and this is by the far the most friendly and welcoming of all of them.

Many thanks Lemming

I'm practically East London myself- I used to live in E. London in the 90's, but then moved back oop North.
I'm down in London quite often to do with work, and stay with family who are in the Isle of Dogs.

Its not North East my friend!!!... simply EAST... wouldnt want people getting mixed up.... infact by postcode a North East London doesnt exist :-)...... mmmm and Woodford... postcode wise would come under Essex would it not???

Neways, we all in close proximity, lets all go down the local Wetherspoons and smoke in the beer garden :-)
Excuse me while I light my Spliff.....

Woodford straddles the border between outer london and essex, in-fact the essex border sign is literally down my road.

And in regards to the local Wetherspoons i think for all of us that would be the walnut tree in Leyton, or is that not a Wetherspoons?

I take it that would be the wetherspoons by McDonalds? ... it's in Leytonstone! Closer to you than Leyton is.

We need to get a lil London Meet & Greet organized! :)
