I love going in the churches. They are beautiful and free. My top 3 churches to see are:

1. Westerkerk. Climb the tower, it is well worth the 7,50 Euro. (7,50 in September '07)

2. Oude Kerk.

3. Sint Nicholaaskerk.

I would also check out Museum Amstelkring. I didn't put in top 3 because you have to pay to see this one. (7 euro)

I'm in no way a religious person but the churches are pretty spectacular, I love the bells myself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmDejHgriWs

Kermit what sort of mess did you make with that quote? You've got me asking if I know how to roll a tulip? HAHAHAHA

Yes I do as you can see from my avatar. It is actually really easy. I had forgotten because I hadn't done it for years, until my trip to Amsterdam last year, so I took a crash course and re-learned, but it is very easy...

http://www.weedfarmer.com/joint_rolling/index.htm

Didn't read up their other joint techniques, but the Tulip is pretty spot on, very simple to do really..
