Has anyone taken the train from Brussels?

Anyone taken a train from Brussels airport to Amsterdam Centraal before?
Is it easy to find and deal with?
I would love to use the websites, but I can not figure out what station is Brussels Airport..

you gona have to take a train from brussels airport to brussels midi its only a few minutes. Then from brussels midi take the train to amsterdam, wich takes just under 3 hours.
I am from brussels. I took this train a zillion time. It goes to Roosendaal and Rotterdam as well.
top 3 strainz : NY Diesel, Amnesia and Cheese.

I even emailed the rail people, and their reply was cryptic!!

The Thayls also runs from Brussels Midi to Amsterdam CS. In around 2.5 hours, thayls is the high speed rail link in northern europe.

Ive taken this train ride 4 times, its wonderful, nice to look at the Dutch country side and the cities, like Antwerpen, Rotterdam and Den Hague.

Thalys is a lot more expensive and only 1 hr faster..

I think the thing with thalys is comfort! ie leg room/bar + its all wi-fi,I will go by NS myself in november as like you said they are cheaper 8).

agreed...normally i will only pay the extra $$$ for a trip from say ams>paris or longer (4+ hrs)...i find the trip from brussels goes by rather quickly :D

You can reach pretty much anywhere in europe from amsterdam in say 5-6 hours,Ie antwerpen 2 hours & paris 4.
