Prices for airfare?

I will be flying into Amsterdam in September from New York (and then flying out of Barcelona), but haven't booked my flights yet. When I started looking a couple months ago, it would have cost around $850 round trip from NY. Yesterday I found flights for $585. Wondering if anyone has an idea if I should grab these now, or can I expect better deals as I get closer? It's still 5 months away. I've never flown internationally so I have no idea what to expect.

WOW, $585, coming from England that is over 10 times what i paid for my flights for my next trip to Dam (£45 return approx $60),

But i would grab your flights as early as you can so that u dont panic buy closer to the time 8)

$585? if thats with return thats a steal. Just make sure its roundtrip and if it is id grab it now!

Buy it asap bro, Im looking at costs of 832$ roundtrip Boston to Ams in Julyish, its a kick in the balls, definately snag that ticket

yeah 585 round trip is good, just months ago it was $800-1000
If it wasnt for the brits, ID BE DUTCH RIGHT NOW

Cheapest flight from Los Angeles right now is $700. Non stop KLM.

Try KLM as they are doing deals of up to 25% off lately.

Yep...

KLM has flights in mid September starting at $535 with a stop over in Madrid.
Before anything, get the daily dose of choke.....
