Back in the burgh of Edin now folks, watchin the football.
I had a bloody great time. 420 was massive, the boat trip a clear standout moment.
I will be working on my trip report over the next few days, that bastard Newbinho has my book with all my notes in
P.S. Fishinbob rolls the best 'doobies' I've ever seen!
P.P.S. Terminator is fucking lethal!!

Bonged a few dozen bogey's of the "Terminator" with Lampshade and ... er ... had to like, put my head down for a minute. longest minute ever - I was out cold for 15 hours.
i wanna go back next month if anyone is up 4 a schmokentoke!?!
... as long as it aint a cheque
At the request of several of the members here, I showed up at 't Nes just before 5. I immediately recognized Twitch from last years 420. AZ Laker was with him and I introduced myself to him. I sat down and waited for the rest of the ACD crew to arrive from the de Kuil. Twitch and I chatted for awhile and then I moved out to the tobacco smoking area, where I met Red Eye and Andy from VDF. A guy and his girl came and sat down. I introduced myself and it was Pirate Raff and his gf. Nice people I had met so far. We talked for a bit and smoked some nice herb. Met Twitch's daughter also. She really seemed to be enjoying herself, as a 1st timer. I also introduced myself to DC.
I thought people would come over and introduce themselves to people that they didnt know but no one did. The loud music, crowds and bar scene definitely does not appeal to me but I attended anyway just so I could meet some of the great folks from ACD. I was disappointed that people didnt circulate and introduce themselves. Seemed they were just comfortable with the folks they had already met. So, after having more than my fill of loud music, where it's very difficult to hear yourself think let alone hearing someone else talking, I quickly said goodbye to the few people I had met and got the hell outta there. It's just not my kinda scene.
I enjoyed meeting those I did meet but expected to meet a lot more. For those of you that I met, sorry we didnt have more time to get to know each other. For those that I didnt get to meet, (especially Cattles1960) my apologies. Peace n Pot.

Cannabis is The Tree of Life
I can relate. I just can't bring myself to enter those places. I offered a free bike tour and only one person showed up. I went to the Polinator company for the IC Mag deal. I walked in and introduced myself loud enough for everyone to hear. Some looked up out of their stoned stooper and nodded, no one stood up or reciprocated. I was outta there quickly. Yesterday I went to Katsu for the big "couch" meetup. Only couch and his travel companion showed up. I got them good and stoned of course. The best laid plans and all.Puffin13 wrote:I thought people would come over and introduce themselves
Well puffdude, at least it ends as quick as it begins. btw, the owner of DeKuil said he was avoiding the big meetup and discussing ways to prevent it from happening again as he does not appreciate the business or disruption to his local customers. Enjoy your Amsterdam Spring.
You 2 are just a barrell of laughs aint ya, loud music? We're well below the 85 db limit...I'm thinkin some folks are just gettin too old.
MH what did you expect with the bike ride at 11am on a sunday?
"Fantastic Bike tour, Thanks to all those that came along. Sorry about there being to much weed and hash to smoke." 1. Plus, I don't think the owner of De Kuil is as pissed off about the meet goin ahead as, lets say.... you are.
Considering most of the people who attended are strangers from all walks of life and very stoned, I thought they did well to mingle. The 60s are over guys, it isn't just hippies that smoke these days.

....ok, so good time had by most then.DC wrote:Good time had by all.
You misunderstand. I had a great time on 420, sitting out in the sunshine on the terrace of the Ij Brewery in the east.DC wrote:You 2 are just a barrell of laughs aint ya, loud music? We're well below the 85 db limit...I'm thinkin some folks are just gettin too old.![]()

You pay alot of money to come to Holland and if that is the way you want to spend your time then power to you. Live well and prosper DC.
I'm goin to wait til I'm home in fron of my computer screen to really post a report, but I met lots of new people, got together again with people from past 4/20's and had a great time.
Don't know why any one would have any thing negative to say.????
DC was a great host, both on the 4/19 test run and on 4/20, and Nes isn't even a coffee shop.

Special shout outs to the London crew and Lampshade, top people.
Hestia, Puffin13, Fishinbob, Chilly1952 and everyone else who I had the pleasure of chatting to over the weekend, however long or short, thank you for giving me some great times.
On a side note, I'm about to go and get some Afghan Haze from Siberie. ( Cheers TNT
