What a trip!!
The rest of saturday consisted of buying a gram of Super Silver Haze from 420 which I wasn't that impressed by, I really dont like the flavour and found it to be a little harsh on the throat, we had a few beers in De Wildeman, the wife had a 10% beer which started her laughing so thats all good, I had whatever whitbier was on the board.
I wanted to finish the night in a coffeeshop so I thought I'd take a look at Soft Temple as it's right by the hotel, they had a little sign saying all smoking to be done upstairs I asked if I could smoke pure downstairs but the guy said no, the menu didn't look that inviting so I walked out, we popped up to Homegrown Fantasy where I picked up a gram of Shiny Crystal for €10 nice fruity, skunky smell and a nice head stone, we finished the night off by having a few Amstels in the hotel bar then off to bed for an early night.

Sunday.
As usual I woke before the wife but this only ever happens in Amsterdam I wonder why?
I rolled what was left of the Super Silver Haze and smoked that hanging out the window to what was looking like a beautiful sunny spring morning, as we were moving rooms we didn't really unpack and we didn't want to go too far from the hotel so we popped up to Picasso where I picked a gram of the Picasso weed, this is basically the left overs but theres lots of little buds in amongst it so it's quite a good bargain weed especially if you buy 5 grams for €21.50, the guy that keeps bowing was serving and there was another guy hanging in the doorway singing to the songs and when Nina Symone's my Baby just cares for me came on they both went into full song & dance, only in Amsterdam.
I think after that we went back to the hotel to change rooms which was fine.
We cycled around a bit then went down to Club Media, I like the shop and the weed so I picked up the middle sized bag (forgot the weight/price), lovely HGF cheese taste and smell but a bit smoother thanks to the organic growing, we then headed off towards Museumplein and then we cycled to Vondelpark and we ended up cycling near enough all the way around, I think we went for some frites down Voetboogstraat (Twitchaldinho, I saw that picture of the que, it goes in less than 5 mins they cook those things that fast and often) still feeling a bit peckish we grabbed a Hema Hotdaog (I love these things) and we then headed up to Basjoe, the meet was set up for 2pm I turned up just after 4pm
I picked up a gram of the Jack Herer (fat gram) for €8, we sat outside to enjoy the weather, I got about half way through that joint where I saw someone come out of Basjoe that looked like Rez, so I called his name out 'Rez' nothing 'Steve' still nothing - louder 'Rez' he turned around with a smile on his face and a stoned look that was going to be his expression every time I saw him over the next couple of days, anyway he came over and I shook his hand he asked who I was so I just told him to guess straight away he said 'Boner' we had a chat then headed off to the Nes cafe.
Meet & Greets at the Nes cafe was simply mad, as soon as I walked in I was given a vapo bag and thats literally how it went for the next hour or so along with the wife drinking all bar one of the beers they have on tap, we met some really great people, I had picked up a gram of Grape from Dampkring (Handboogstraat) as it smelt amazing but sadly it lacked flavour & strength (€10 a gram).
After lots of beer and smokes we had decided to go down Cafe de klos with Rob, Sally, Hippy and Tom (I think ) where we had an amazing meal that consisted of meat, meat and more meat, 2 jacket potatoes, some bread with garlic butter a beer or 2 and some little cookies with cream and a liquer on, top meal, top company and a top waiter who made the meal even better.
We then headed to the Apartment Rob & Sally were sharing with Twitch, Mrs Twitch (real nice lady), Twitchs daughter (again real nice lady) where more drink was consumed and more spliffs and volcano bags thanks to rob taking his over with him, later on we cycled up to the hotel where we had a nightcap Amstel and we hit the sack.
I almost forgot, the meet & greet at the Nes was a highlight thanks to Cattales calling me the elusive Boner, great to meet you and DH.

Monday April 20th 2009 aka 4:20
A few of us had arranged to meet up at Paradox at 11am, I got there at about 10:30 as I needed a munch we ordered ham & cheese tostis, as usual these we really nice, I picked up a €5 bag of Ace, this is always consistant and I also picked up a €5 bag of the Chocolope that was pretty good and in my top 3 weeds I picked up over the trip.
From here it was on to Homegrown Fantasy we were on our bikes so I arranged to meet up with the group @ HGF as I had to pop to the Post Office at HGF I picked up some Cheese (it was between HGF's and Club Medias which was the best Cheese, if I had to choose I'd go with Club Media just because of the 100% Organic claim).
After HGF I think we went off for a munch I think we went to Wok 2 Walk as usual a top feed.
I think we went for a cycle around town for a bit to burn some calories off then it was to 420 which was packed, I saw and said hello to a couple of people on the big table then stood around chatting to some guys on a table and before I knew it 4:20 had passed and I hadn't even realised
The wife was in De Wildemaan having a few beers during the 420 thing as she doesn't smoke so we went there after and grabbed a beer or 2 before heading down to the Nes cafe for what was even more vapes than the night before, I had a bash on the Verdamper with Twitch as well which had the full effect about 30 mins later, the wife had spotted the back of the beer mats were 3 out 4 to a pattern so she asked Dave about the missing piece, he told her something about them not being about which left he dissapointed, anyway a few mins later Dave appeared with 4 brand new beer mats which are now stuck on my wall:
