420 anyone?
Day 3.…..The big one!
For the Second day on the trot, I was the first one awake. Flipping my usual routine 180Degrees ( I work nightshift ) was really showing its benefits this trip.
Whilst mulling over which bag of erb to use for my Wake and bake, it hit me. It was 4:20, and we were in for a heavy, action packed day. With that in mind I rolled up the last of the Outdoor Purple from Paradox and decided to Terminate it
After a few tokes, and multiple coughing fits, newbinho had surfaced. So I passed him the spliff and jumped in the shower. When I came out he was know where to be seen. The spliff was there though!
Turns out he had got board waiting for me to get out the shower and had gone to use the Communal shower for the other guests. All the more Terminator for me!
A couple more spliffs from newbinhos stash were consumed before we eventually left the room for Breakfast. This time, it was after 10AM so we opted for the Dampkring.
Once again, I bought Pancakes, and this time a gram of Mexican Haze in an attempt to drag my ass out of Terminator-Ville ! It worked. I felt very uppity and ready to meet all the ACDers at Homegrown Fantasy.
We left the Dampkring About 11:20AM and took a stroll over to HGF. When we got there, it was empty so we posted up outside at the corner table after buying yet more Cheese. Took this pic.
We sat outside till almost 12, then decided to go back inside. Inside I bought a bag of Pot Of Gold and we moved over to the big seating area at the back. The budtender played Dour, Scottish songsmith Malcom Middleton and I almost had a heart attack. I had to let him know I enjoyed that.
Not long after, the London boys and Lampshade turned up. I recognised them instantly as they were the only other people we had met so far. What ensued was a bit of a session

Soon Chilly1952 was introducing himself and ramming a vapo bag in my face ! Nice.
I could smoke and chat to Chilly for ever. His energy is infectious. Then, Another American posted up beside us. None other than Couch. Another top bloke who I wish I had had more time to talk to. At this exact time Red Eyed Indian was getting very animated about this beautiful chick at the counter. Apparently, she was smuggling peanuts!
I am too much of a gentleman to have noticed though !
I cant remember the exact order, but I know Boner came over and Introduced himself, as did Hestia. They let us Know there was a whole lot more people sitting outside. Soon, Liquidswords needed to go to the Western Union place and Lampshade needed the cash machine. So as a group we bounced out of there. Stopping outside to meet the forum-ites at the tables. It was here that I met Cattales and DHBlues, briefly. Very nice people. I got a better chance to meet Hestia, who was quick to remind us we better be at 4:20 at 420. I said I would make sure we made it there .
From here we walked over to Damraak,
I accompanied Lampshade to the Cash machine and Liquidswords and crew headed on up to the Western Union Place. When we rejoined them, I snapped this pic while we were waiting.
The boys decided to hit up worm street with the Intention of going to Hunters. It was packed when we got there so we just moved on and into 36. We got some seats which offered us a good view out the window and on to Damraak. I can’t remember what everyone else bought, But I got 2g of Kali Mist.
I do remember the Budgirl telling TrichomeDense and I to remove our cigarette packets from the table. Bloody stoners that we are .
We sat here smoking and chatting till about 3:30PM. Then it was off to De Kuil.
It wasn’t as packed as I thought it would be, Hestia and Chilly were the only faces I recognised. I opted for 2 grams of the NYC Diesel and grabbed a seat beside Hestia, newbinho grabbed the other seat. Trichome, Liquid, Lamps and RedEye posted up at the bar till the big table became vacant.
Soon we were joined by FishinBob and his buddy. Very cool people, as I have alluded to already, Fishinbob rolls the best American style Doobies I’ve ever seen. They hit like a dream too. I was very impressed
I recall chatting to Twitch for a while, passing him a spliff with Diesel and Kali mist, I managed to give Lemming the Gift which I had brought for him too . Very soon the whole place was full. Hestia had a bag of all the finest weeds she had smoked so far, that got rolled up unto a big cone. I threw the rest of the NYC Diesel in to the pile also, I think we made 3 big doobs for rotation. Fishinbob hand rolled a big bastard aswell, but we left before that got blazed. At some point I went back up to the counter and got a gram of Blueberry. A much better smoke than the NYC Diesel. I think that was my worst buy of the trip. I just couldn’t get it to burn right.
When the shout went up for 420, I think every one was smoking on Something!
I recall seeing Lemming, Liquidswords, TrichomeDense, Red Eyed Indian, Lampshade, Hestia, Cattales and Dhblues, AZLaker, Boner, Pauli Wallnuts , Chilly1952, Twitch and Family and SoulRider.
I can guarantee there were more, but I was never Introduced to them. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. There was a lot of stoned grins every time I looked around .
About 5pm, newbinho and I split to grab something to eat. I think I forgot to say goodbye to some folks, and If I did, I’m very sorry

I made plans to pop into t’Nes after we had muched up and grabbed some more smokes.
We ended up grabbing a Subway and some cookies before making our way to the GreenPlace to get some smoke. I bought 2 grams of Kushadelic. Newbinho still had a big stash so we popped into the smoking room to blaze some of his stash. We were out of there in 30mins tops. I decided I didn’t have enough smoke yet so grabbed a gram of hill street Special. If I had known that the chick serving was gonna take an eternity, I wouldn’t have bothered
! After about 15mins of standing about, we eventually got out of Hillstree Blues and proceeded to t’Nes. Boner was the first person we saw on arrival, so I asked him if there were many more of us. He said that there were a few of us tucked away at the back, and straining my neck, I noticed Hestia and co. We let Boner get back to chatting to his wife ( I presume?) and Newbinho grabbed some seats near the PC.
I went over to the Bar to get drinks, and to see D.C. To my surprise, he remembered me straight away ( haven’t seen him since June last year.) and offered me a handshake and complimentary drinks. Nice. I even remembered the book .
I spent a good 20mins reading everyone’s comments before Newbinho and I left our messages. Some of our fellow forum members are very Talented!
Soon, chilly1952 arrived, having been to Old Amsterdam for supplies. He grabbed a bier and sat down beside us. He was explaining how he always gets lost, always. Almost instantly, Hestia started to take a head count for the boat trip. I asked if there was space for Newbinho and I and got an emphatic yes. Now that made my trip. 15 trips to Amsterdam and I ain’t never been on the Canals .
We had just enough time to pre-roll a couple of doobs for the trip before we had a most enjoyable walk to Boom Chicago. I took this pic en route.
The full list of Attendees totalled 8, Including Hestia, Lemming and friends, Chilly and Newbinho and I, plus the beautiful captain.

It was a most enjoyable experience, all thanks must go to Hestia for setting it up. When we started it was sunny and when we pulled back up outside of the coffeeshops ( Easy times and Tops.) the sun had set. Afterwards there were handshakes and hugs before we all set off in different directions. We headed back up towards our hotel.
I was all out of smoke by now so was in urgent need of a refill. I was also bloody starving! A compromise was struck. We would do multiple stops before retiring to the room to pack for departure tomorrow.
First stop was Kadinsky, where I asked to see the Trans Himilaya. No Luck, it was all sold out! *** Own up, Who bought it all?***. Instead I got a gram of Diesel and a gram of White Russian/Rhino ( I cant remember, my notes say whiR! )
I have no Idea what newbinho bought. From there, we grabbed multiple cheeseburgers from McDeez and set of for the room.
Only I had €10 in my pocket burning a hole, so as we passed Coffeeshop Barraka

I had to dart in and get a bit hash. I opted for the Primero Crème
I had quite a fun conversation with the Tender before we left. It was about the size of the Knife he was using to cut the Hash, It was like a sword !
When we eventually made it to the room we ate like pigs.
When my stomach settled, I rolled up the Hash for wake and bake tomorrow.
Then the White rhino/Russian, Terminated it. And knocked myself out. It was a hectic day, but one of the best!
Tomorrow.... Basjoe’s in the Sun, Icolator and the Best Pancakes I have ever had!!
