Day 4.…The final instalment.
The last day in Amsterdam is always a sad occasion. I can tell you one thing though, the Primero Crème spliff I had preped the night before cheered me right up

! This was a fine piece of Maroc. I had used the grinder to break it up and it worked perfectly. Almost turning it back to a dust. It tasted very sweet too.
This was the first morning so far that Newbinho was up before me, and it wasn’t good news. Since he had bought half of Amsterdam he couldn’t fit it all in his bag

.
In a show of Neanderthal like strength he had managed to bust his bag. He set out to try and find a new one while I jumped in the shower. When I was all dried, I rolled up something and took up my now customary seat at the window. I put on the Superfly soundtrack on my I-pod and let Curtis take my mind on a funky trip

. Once again the sun was strong in the sky and it was easy to forget we had to leave.
About a half an hour later Newbiho arrived empty handed, “
everywhere is still shut” was the reply I got.
He had explained our situation to the Hotel boss, and negotiated a later check out should we have needed it.
We set out for our final Breakie at Studio 2 again. This time I got the little Dutch pancakes. I wont even try and type the real name. They were delicious, served with Sugar and a knob of butter. Again, I cant recommend this place enough. I got a fresh O.J and a brew as well. Took this picture.
The total cost of our combined much was €17sumthing. I happily gave a €20 note and stringently declined the change. Dutch people ( outside of coffeeshops ) don’t like to be tipped it seems to me, even when they have honestly earned it
From here we went to the V&D on Kaalverstraat, where newbinho purchased, what I can only describe as the biggest, greenest bag I’ve ever seen. Ugly as hell IMHO. He loves it though

. Afterwards, we went back to the hotel to take care of shit and then up to the train station to get rid of our bags for a while. I took all these pics when we left the station.
Then, to the DNA Genetics shop, where newbinho bought a hat and a hoodie.
From there, to
Basjoe to get super High!
The Tender Remembered us and we shared a great chat about the Terminator. When newbinho said we wanted to get high as fuck since we were leaving soon. Leo told us we had to try the
Iceolator. I asked him what plant it was made from, he told me Haze. Moneybags newbinho bought
2 g’s of the shit at €20 a g.
He also negotiated us bigger O.J’s than would normally be served.
I bought
2g of the Silver Haze, and from this pic, I’m sure you know why!
€10 a gram too. Absolute steal!
The outside seating was just what we needed, the silver haze, perfect. I smoked most of the two grams and felt very goofy

. The Iceolator, holy shit. In my opinion, much better than the Terminator, a lot more enjoyable to smoke. Newbinho rolled one up using just tobacco and the Iceolator, and boy did it kick. All around the eyes. Smooth as well. Snapped this.
The eventual realisation that this was our last day, brought with it the decision to keep moving. As much as we would have liked to have sat there all day, there was more good smoke to be found. Just before leaving, we got a pretty blond girl to Take a picture of us with Leo. Its on newbinhos camera but I’ll post it when I get a copy.
Just around the corner was
Rusland. So that was that, we stopped in There.
Thank goodness we did, or I wouldn’t have found another of my favs from this trip.
The
lemon Haze, and at €12 a gram, a good deal. I bought 2 grams, had a short chat with one of the ladies working there about how they had moved the Budbar. It confused me when I first got in

. Then we rolled on out of there. Pic of the Lemon Haze.
( sorry, poor photo)
HomeGrown Fantasy was our next stop, and as far as I was concerned our final spot. Upon arrival, I bought 1g of Shiny Crystal
and a cup of tea. I hadn’t even rolled up the Lemon haze from Rusland when newbinho said he wanted to end the trip in Coffeeshop 36. I agreed, and we quickly smoked the spliff o’ Lemon Haze. Bloody lovely. Such a clear high and superb flavour.
I was buzzing on this haze as we walked past El Guapo coffeeshop. I saw someone who I recognised from one of the meets the day before. None other than Boner. So I popped in to say hello properly, and also to recommend the Lemon haze from Rusland. On reflection, I was perhaps a bit rude interrupting his conversation. (I apologise if that was the case

) In my defence, I was buzzing on the Haze

.
Anyhoo, we said goodbye and continued onward to
36. I bought A gram of
bubblegum for €8 I think, and set about getting rid of my stash. During the smoke out, we were joined by a young couple from Paris. Their English wasn’t great but we managed just fine. When I passed them the spliff containing Basjoe’s Silver Haze they asked where to get it. I wrote everything down for them. I hope they made it.
We left them our papers and a new grinder Newbinho had bought to replace the one we left somewhere on 420
We were on the 3PM train to the Airport, checked in and outside smoking our final spliffs in no time. Here’s a few pictures.

Finally, a pic of me finishing of the last of the Super Lemon. I was still feeling the effects of this when I touched down on Scottish soil. Great stuff.
Oh, whilst waiting to board I spotted this dude, is this the best job in the world?
I feel sad that I have finished this report now. It was great reliving the last few days through my notes.
Never mind, October aint that far away
