I sit here at work this morning wondering how am I going to get anything done today? Why you ask (or not)? Because I leave tonight for the Dam and after 4 months of anticipation, I'm just a little bit excited!!!
Anyway, I wanted to thank you all again for the wealth of info you've provided ... my 2nd trip will be a much more educated one. I look forward to sharing some of my experiences when I get back.

Have a blast, CZ. The wait is the hardest part (2 months 11 days left

). Just make it all count, man. Cause as long as the wait is, the trip goes even faster.

I totally second everything said there by Count Zero. Fantastic forum with fantastic members. Have a great trip (Me only 18 days left)

Unfortunately I also have to agree with Stygian's point about the actual trip being over and done with before you know it. It's not something i can afford to do more than once a year, which is a pity as I am only one hour away from Amsterdam by plane

Still, like Stygian says make every moment mean something, have a real blast and don't be like me and cry your eyes out as you sup your last Heineken in Schipol Airport before boarding your flight home.

I've got into the habit from past trips of taking a pocket-sized journal with me and jotting down notes as I do different activities. It helps to pace the trip while i'm on it and to remember after (especially a trip like this).
man, is work over yet?!?!?

I am already back and in the grips of Post-Dam depression
Once it clears I will begin sifting through the billion notes and pics I took and give a proper travelogue.
One thing I will say now is that the CherryBomb and RockLock @ Grey Area were off the hook! Exquisite look, smell, and flavor followed by an intense high. Also, all 12 of our group are interesting in purchasing a volcano thanks to the one at 4:20/DeKuil. More to come...
