Like the look of a couple of those dogs, Dava - the Hawaiian "All beef Frankfurter topped with mozzarella, pineapple and
crispy bacon"
sounds like a winner to me... :D

Mind you, I'll be sitting outside BurgerBar in, ummm... 1 day and twelve hours (or thereabouts) waiting for it to open.

Then perhaps the Kobe to start the trip off in good style...

Can't believe I'm looking forward to the food almost as much as the weed!!

I'll be deeply surprised if I don't stop off there at least once a day during my stay!

il have to keep my eye out for burger as i didnt notice it last time i went but i like the idea of these kind of shops, so simple to just let people pick and mix everything they want!

Amazing burgers had the 270 angue with bacon, cheese and onions both times.

Although, most likely due to us eating them at like 2am, both of us woke up the next day with some intense heart-burn.

$25 for a burger, holy shit.

How about these... http://most-expensive.net/burgers-world

I've never been to Burger Bar, I suppose I could give them a try the next time I'm in town. Then I will know what it feels like to pay over $10 for a burger.

What it DOES (sp) say is that I enjoy my time in Amsterdam - especially the food.

Do you ever enjoy anything? Apart, obviously, from the incessant flaming of anything and everything on these forums? Do you have any friends left at all, and for that matter, have you actually ever been to Amsterdam? Your attitude on here of late just seems to be that of a petulant child who cannot get what they want, so they start screaming at all and sundry with a hissy fit of epic proportions...

It seems that every other comment you make on here revolves around taking a pop at other people's posts. If you don't like what other people say and do, then why not just accept that everyone enjoys different things and perhaps for a change make some positive contributions on here? It's actually quite tiring trying to understand half of what you're ranting about most of the time... Is english your second language or something?

Clearly, your grasp of the purpose of these forums is missing. Perhaps a quick re-read of the rules of conduct might help?

A bit of gentle ribbing and play-fighting is one thing, but are you unable to communicate with other people without resorting to such immature behaviour all the time? Why not just take a toke of whatever it is you're smoking and try to relax a bit before posting all this crap?

Back on topic, something which seems to be getting quite rare nowadays, and just for your personal gratification bluelaru, when I visit Amsterdam these days, I always try and stop here a few times because the burgers are superb - best I've ever had. (see how easy that was?) It's called staying "on topic".

I don't eat burgers every day, and even if I lived in Amsterdam right next door to Burgerbar, I doubt I could afford to eat here every day. But when I'm on holiday - I consider it a treat. And so, for the continued exchange of information, which was still the purpose of this forum the last time I checked, I end this post. I'm off to work now, because I, for one, have something other than posting bitchy and irrelevant off-topic comments on this forum in my life.

I popped my burger bar cherry on Wednesday evening with a wagyu beef burger on Italian bread with cheese. It was the best burger I've ever had, and I've had a few. So good intact that we went again for lunch on Thursday!
