i wonder how they make em for that price. there is about 20% tax on it and for us the wagyu filet is about 140 euros per kilo. of course they dont use filet for it, but still i wonder what will be used.cantona7 wrote:anyone tried the waygu burgers there? i thought about it but in the end decided on a reg burger as i could spend the extra few euro towards weed or a few cokes in a cs.

yea and waygu beef from what i understand isn't even the real deal kobe beef, but kobe waygu cattle mated with american/euro cattle? i had kobe beef when i was in thailand and it was great. overpriced though. for 2 good size steaks, a few beers and 2 french onion soups and chips my father's and my bill was like $275. for that price not only should the beef be tender and delicious but it should get me high too.
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

yeah kobe is just from kobe. the race is named wagyu and there are crosses with other races and wagyu. kobe beef is not exported or if so it will be unbelievably expensive. so if it says wagyu it in fact is the same cow as kobe but it has not had the kobe treatment like beer masage, feeding and so on.
