I pointed this out to the girl on the till and she said tough, thats the way we have to do it!! Fuck that.. I'll have my money back thanks!
Right. That's off the list for future trips. Shame, but i won't risk food poisoning.
Went to the one near Rembrandtplein twice last month, still delicious as always. :D
You wont get food poisoning off raw red meat, I understand why people have an issue though.

True that, also the heat from the grill kills bacteria but that's not the point. Such basic hygiene is not hard to follow and it's not like latex gloves are expensive. Might check out their other location next time.

Do burgermeester do their burgers to go? If so, might be worth grabbing one and buying some frites elsewhere.

@ kingdoc, do you mind telling me where "blue bridge" is and where the location of the Burger bar is around there ?
Thankyou.

The Blauwbrug (Blue Bridge) spans the Amstel between Amstelstraat and Waterlooplein, where the Stopera is. Burger Bar isn't really near the Blauwbrug, although it isn't that far. It's located on the other side of Rembrandtplein at Reguliersbreestraat 9.
