You wont get food poisoning off raw red meat, I understand why people have an issue though.angry pirate wrote:Right. That's off the list for future trips. Shame, but i won't risk food poisoning.ohm sweet ohm wrote:Had a bad experience here last visit. I won't be returning. The guy who was prepping the burgers was squashing the raw beef mince into the burger formers and then assembling buns / salad etc with the same latex gloves covered in raw meat!
I pointed this out to the girl on the till and she said tough, thats the way we have to do it!! Fuck that.. I'll have my money back thanks!
Went to the one near Rembrandtplein twice last month, still delicious as always.

True that, also the heat from the grill kills bacteria but that's not the point. Such basic hygiene is not hard to follow and it's not like latex gloves are expensive. Might check out their other location next time.Boner wrote:You wont get food poisoning off raw red meat, I understand why people have an issue though.angry pirate wrote:Right. Do burgermeester do their burgers to go? If so, might be worth grabbing one and buying some frites elsewhere.Kingdoc wrote:ohm sweet ohm wrote:Had a bad experience here last visit. Re: Burger Bar
The Blauwbrug (Blue Bridge) spans the Amstel between Amstelstraat and Waterlooplein, where the Stopera is. Burger Bar isn't really near the Blauwbrug, although it isn't that far. It's located on the other side of Rembrandtplein at Reguliersbreestraat 9.xxxcronicxxx wrote: @ kingdoc, do you mind telling me where "blue bridge" is and where the location of the Burger bar is around there ?

The menu is there too.
