Yep, totally agree. Store in a cool, dark place. The more weed in the jar the better (less air). Constant handling of bud causes the tricomes to break up - an oz a jar is about right, for storage. I take a bud out when I need it and transfer it to a much smaller airtight jar.

Weed stored this way does lose its potency over time, but then I find the high six weeks after curing is nowhere near as intense as the high from gear the day it's ready.
