Glad to be one of the first to voice my opinion on this little shop.

Upon entering this coffee shop you are met with a large fish tank. From what we could tell there were around seven types of fish on display. At the back of the shop is a massive mirrored wall, which makes the place seem larger and more open. The music, decoration and Bob Marley posters created a very Caribbean feel. The seating was varied with different styled seats to relax on. This and the unique décor made us not want to leave in a hurry.

When we were at the bar there were English people randomly talking about how girls are rubbish, which we found amusing as they were discussing it very loudly. The drinks and food on offer were limited and what they did have was a little pricey. One good thing was that the drinks were self-served, so you did not have to wait long for service. We stayed in this coffee shop quite a while as they allowed us to smoke our own stuff as long as we bought drinks. The quality and variety of drugs that Coffeeshop Ben had to offer was pretty typical for the size of the shop. The atmosphere was friendly with people chatting quietly and watching T.V. The lady at the bar was also friendly but did not go out of her way for customer service during our lengthy stay. The view seemed nice but because there was no outdoor seating it was neglected

I picked up some Super Skunk from here a few years back, pretty generic skunk flavour but the quality was pretty decent.

To be hounest the only real reason we went to this place was because one of the boys is named after the shop. Yet we ended up liking it all the same lol.

Top quality service from female budtender with nosepeircing. Lemon Haze is a really strong and powerful smoke. very destinct aroma. cant roll on patio but you smoke outside and in back room. this was the first place i have ever visited in Amsterdam and it was a great experience.

Coffee Shop Ben is a little shop just about 100 metres from Cafe 420.

A great menu selection, and loved the service from the budtender.

The have a couple outdoor seats, but all rolling must be done inside the shop.

I would say this is a fine place for a doob or two while resting your feet in the Centrum.

Cheers!

Ben is ok by me

finally stopped in this place after passing it dozens of times. Bought some Ice White Widow, which the budtender recommended. 10 e a gram, and it kicked my ass. Also tried the Caramello hash which was a nice smooth smoke and provided a satisfying long lasting buzz. I shall return.

Kinda partial to Ben as it was one of the first coffeeshops I visited way back when. Sitting in the back behind the fish tank is all I can remember. Lemon Haze was a good smoke nice high, just what you want for an afternoon smoke.

We walked past this shop again and it seemed like not much had changed. No customers = No atmosphere.

i love coffeeshop ben, its probably my favourite in amsterdam. I love the vibe in there, and they often have football matches from all across europe in there. Also they have grape mogu mogu, without a doubt the greatest drink in the world!

They had a good refurb on the seating and it's a much nicer place to chill now.

Really cool CS with friendly staff and good music. G13 Lemon and Sahara Cream were excellent smokes. A must visit
