Hey All,

I am currently planning my OH's surprise birthday present a weekend in DAM.

Booked the hotel (4 star i wasnt going in a hostel lollllll)

He is very much into his weed and was wondering where i can get the strongest and highest in THC Content in amsterdam, whats the best coffeeshop to go to reading the Bushdoctor looks good (i believe they do jelly)

We arrive 5pm on friday and fly back 5.30pm sunday. not alot of time but i cant get anymore time off work so close to his birthday.

Plan is get there dump bag and go to shops, saturday go to shops walk about about go to eat somewhere then head to red light at night.

Geeky i know but am hoping i can visit Anne Franks and maybe fit in a bit of sight seeing dunno if i got time or if i can drag him away from shops lol

Any advice would be great where not to go to (i heard dont go to bulldog) where def to go to get the best.

if anyone can explain this city tax 5% it would be a great help as its totally confused me.

Welcome aboard.

First off, Print the map from this site https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/Map.html.

Secondly, enjoy yourselfs. Amsterdam is the Muts Nuts.

Finally, my personal favourite coffeshops, once there, just use your nose and pick whatever takes your fancy. Dampkring, Basjoe, MellowYellow, Siberie, GreenPlace, Paradox ( all on the map, all fairly central )

Katsu and Media are worth a look too, although, they are a little further away.
Dont get hung up on what has the Highest THC content, there are lots of other things that make up how strong a strain is, other than THC.

Bushdoctor do indeed have a large menu of Icolators and such, very expensive and extensive.
Hope that helps ya, and once again, welcome aboard.
EDIT

I keep forgetting that GreenPlace aint on the map. It can be found at Niew Markt area, G5 on the grid.
Endure

you is a good woman, booking a suprise trip for your mans birthday, bloody blinding.

The Anne Frank is worth a visit as we have done it, good to see how her family had to hide away.

He may need a break away when you get back though to get over it!!!!!!!

Hi there and welcome to the forum.
I would suggest ye get 48 hour Iamsterdam cards as they are a great aid to getting around and seeing all the other stuff A'dam has to offer the price includes 48hrs use of trams, metro and discounts for the majority of the exibits that are on offer.
I hope ye both have a great trip.

If your planning on going to the Anne Franks house i'd advise to go online and purchase your tickets an print them off and that will save you a lot of time in line and you also enter another door from those who don't already have tickets in advance. I did it and saved me about 2 hours waiting in a line around the building and went right on in with my ticket i had already printed online. Oh and be ready for some steep stairs, enjoy.
Pass the peace pipe.
