Well...... it's now 3 days until my 34th.... and 6 till I visit Amsterdam.....

Funny having 2 trips to Amsterdam over the next 3 weeks has really taken my attention away from my Birthday..... I haven't even thought about it.

PS.... I asked for Euros if anybody wanted to buy me a prezzy..... That way I can go loopy!

I started smoking when I was about 18, have been to Amsterdam 3 times, and am actually a computer gamer, not online cause my reflexes couldn't handle you young'ens  but I play Quake and Doom and all those FPS type games. Hell I remember DOS. At 60 I still study Martial Arts, something I've done all my llife, although I gotta admit I do Tai-Chi and QiGong now, no more hard style. Anyway gotta go oil up the old walker and go listen to some live blues  :D

Oh no, here it comes. I'm 16. I had my first joint at 13.

Now I hope that doesn't make me the youngest? I really feel just too young to say anything authorative with all you fogeys around, now. (I mean no offence. =D)

But I have to agree, it really does surprise me that there's some of you as old as 60 just chilling on a smoker's forum. It's a completely new insight for me.

As for the other question, about fmaily etc... I don't really think I'm old enoguh to get away with telling my parents (or brother, who'd tell my parents) that I smoke. I figure I should wait until my freedoms are out of their hands and into my own, that way I can let them make their decision based on what they really think of cannabis and what it makes me. I fear if I were to tell them now, they'd immediately fall into a drugs-are-bad-we-must-protect-you supermom kind of mentality, and not see that weed has really improved my life. :D

However, I do kind of fear that they already know, I've been associated with smokers, and have come home acting silly on more than one occasion.. part of me wants to tell them because I feel bad for lying, and another wants to keep it hushed up forever out of self-interest. And I really don't think a smoker's forum is the best place to ask for advice on that matter, as I'm certain my parents are nonsmokers, haha.

Back on topic, here I am, 16 years old, quite the youngin'.

Fogeys... man I guess I thought that of 30-somethings when I was 16.

I understand your doubts but mine are from a prental view and I think if you want advice you have come to a place that will offer you the truth. We'll give our direct opinions of whatever you want to know. Hang around and you might learn something about how us old fogeys hang out.

I'm 36 and have recently had major doubt about just how weed has improved my life... there are two sides to the weed coin... My only advice would be to try and enjoy both sides. Respect the weed, don't "want" it. Enjoy the good times the weed brings you and appreciate just how good life is without it. The biggest dissalusion weed has given me is that life is shit without it... well, it's not really.

Stay cool

... and yes, I do believe you are the youngest

Heh, well I'm glad to be on the better side of the scale. =P (Kidding, kidding)

But, yeah, I totally understand you. I actually have rarely smoked at all (maybe only a couple times a week) in the past couple months, but every day still gets better. Believe me, I am fully enjoying my life. =D I just also happen to like finding new and more fun ways to help enjoy it.
