I spent a month or so on the forum, smokersguide and the ACD main site... I gethered lots of very valuable info. When I got there, I felt like a very small person I a very big city ? odd you may say, even odder to me.
I felt like I was there without you... the forum peeps. I felt like I had sneeked there without you all knowing and that it was unfair for me to be having such a great time without you.
This could have been coz the day I left I posted a thread but the only chance I had to check for replies was the afternoon before I left. For some reason the forum page was unavailable ??
I did not get to see DC at Nes Cafe ( did not even get to Nes) and I did not manage to get online to check/post on the forum. This I would say is a definate MUST do for anybody travelling.
It's not the easiest thing to manage when you are wasted but I think my trip would have been much better if I had have kept in touch.
My point is that this/we are a little community, it's just such a damn shame it's a "virtual" community thats made up of "members" that share an interest/product.
I will definitely be making daily posts regarding my trip and it will be a first thing in the morning activity.
I've had so much help from so many people that I think it is important that I show my appreciation towards as many of them as possible while I'm there.
I realise I've practically set a world record for the most posts in the least time but I feel it's like a game of tennis. I hit the ball to you then you hit it back and so on.
I'm looking forward to the hook ups I've got arranged with Neuro, bb420 and Woody. I will do my utmost to remember all the times and places.
Spot on Doog, for me this place is like having a well educated conversation with fellow tokers... Just in slow motion.
The subjects are endless... you wanna have your say, then post it, you just wanna sit in and listen, thats cool too... everbody goes at there own pace.
If you can post daily when out there you'll know that me and a shit load of others will be loggin in the see whats news.
Ditto on all of the above. Its great to get such fantastic recent updates from like-minded people and I find theres always more I can learn about the wonders of the Netherlands.
Really have to agree w/you all. Have been coming to the ACD site since 2001 when I made my first visit to the Dam. Much of the info I got re CS and etc. was from ACD. Go to the smokersguide site ,but forum there tends to get out of hand compared to here. This site is so well organized it's unbeleavable(sp) GREAT JOB LEMMING.Keep on token ,or vapin, or whatever Twitch ( richwes in Smokersguide message board.)
I forgot to mention that with regard to this forum and how it runs, Lemming gets a well deserved round of appluase from myself along with you guys too... I have read no rules or tips on etiquette on the use of this forum. Yet we all "keep it real" when we post/reply messages. It's so damn nice to be on a level with somebody, but to be on a level with such a group of peeps makes me very happy and proud to be a part of it... wow man, pass the handkerchief
Don't know if u get the Springer show in U.K., but...go toOprah go to Oprah... just kidding, could'nt agree w/you more, best, most organized and most informative site on web as far as I'm concerned Keep on tokin,or vapin or whatever...Peace
