Options for transportion from A'Dam 2 London
Heading out to A'Dam in mid August for 10 days
then i'm going to the London area to hang with a friend for a week and then head back to the States. I was wondering my options of ways to get from A'Dam to London. Looking for input guys.

fly with easyjet for around £50 in about 50 mins,
bus/coach with Eurolines for around £30 in 10-11 hours.
Train Eurostar.co.uk for between £60-150. in 4-5hours
Bear in mind that if you fly, although its much faster, it'll take you around an hour to reach the city centre from any of the major London airports. On the other hand the train option takes you from Amsterdam Centraal Station to Londons St Pancras, with a stop in Brussells to broaden your European tour...

No Victim? No Crime.
I flew out and got the train and eurostar back last time I went.
Eurostar worked out more expensive, less convenient and less pleasant. Brussels is not a particularly nice place (imo), the 'international terminal' inside brussels station is little more than a normal train station waiting room, except you can't leave once you're there (you're through passport control), there is one shop, nearly no duty free and very uncomfortable seats. Admittedly the view is better once on the train but for my money I'd fly every time.

you might like to consider the train/ferry deal from Stena Linetastywaves wrote:I was wondering my options of ways to get from A'Dam to London.
by taking the 10pm ferry you don't have to leave amsterdam from centraal station until about 6pm, so that gives you an extra afternoon in town
the ferry travels overnight and you will be in london early the next morning
