Quick AM update before we head out for the day.

on my 2nd Red Dragon of this wake and bake and OMG what a great way to wake up and greet the day!

we're renting bikes to accomplish today's goals a little quicker.

A few thoughts on the Royal Jelly, i mixed 10e worth, a little more than 0.2grams, split between two rolls of Dr Grinssy. smoked one last night before passing out and it was really nice. the burn is smooth, but i didn't really notice it separate from the Dr weed. I think perhaps it only intensified the high of the weed base, likely since there was so little RJ. still have the other joint of RJ + Dr for tonight, so we won't be buying anymore, i want to save $$$ for Terminator at Basjoes.

That's it for now, thanks for the great words guys! will keep an eye out for the buddah's sister and the ACD book at 420 also!

The ACD book is a Nes, not 420.

MONDAY JUNE 29

I should start by saying I did not intend to hold the suspense so long. I was ready to post, but our internet connection was lost when I finished my write up in Word. Blah, sorry.

Ok, a great day all said and done, lets just get the worried worts out there relaxed. everyone is safe and sound. We awoke early despite a late night and headed off straight to The Pancake Bakery. It was a glorious morning and our seats were perfectly shaded on the patio on the canal side of the road. Enjoyed breakfast very much, omelette for me, pancake for Mrs. We were both very high from the morning wake and bake, so this was a smash of a start.

Headed off for the Anne Frank tour but made a slight detour to Amnesia first for some Laughing Buddah, 2grams, 26e. Rolled a 1 gram joint but bolted without smoking since it was an oven there. Off for AF House, but the line-up was far too long, we’ll do it tomorrow.

It’s high noon (well not really high anymore) and the sun is blazing, and the Mrs says lets get the peddle boat and go to Van Gogh. Ok I say, thinking there’s a chance for a smoke on the ride, no dice. It took us a leisurely 40 minutes to reach the Rijks for the drop off and then walked to VG. It was a really quick stroll through the museum and we were done. I should have pre-rolled a couple, but it would have been hard to navigate safely in traffic too high.

It was only 2pm so we thought Basjoes for TERMINATOR!!!! DA DA DUM DUM DAAAAAHHHHH!

We made the hike to Basjoes in Record time. This was our third try for Terminator and again, there was none in stock. Same for the isolator, nothing.

Well i do not want to leave Basjoes without at least trying something on the menu, so i ask what’s really good today? Bas Special, 11e a gram is the response. Hmmm... i’m not so sure this will be so strong, but ok lets do 2 grams and hit the patio for a quickie. I rolled a 1 gram pure and FOOOOOP! My head is feeling awesome. Underline AWESOME.

Whoa, I was not expecting this at all. I look at the Mrs and she is completely baked.

I must state for the record here and now, Bas Special is the best smoke I have had in Amsterdam and it was only 11e a gram. It grabbed in the insides of my cheeks and it felt like little chickens were clawing at my temples. Just a brilliant smoke. the budtender told me it was indica, but this high was more sativa energizing without a heavy indica head. Rolled another 1 gram pure of Bas Special and enjoyed the vibes on the patio. What a great scene to watch as the intersection is not too busy or loud. There is still volume passing but it is a calm flow of traffic and very relaxing.

After finishing the second doob we realize its already 430pm!!! We completely missed our meet n greet at Katsu. This is not working out well for us and the meetings. The weed is great, but we’re not connecting and for that we apologize... but the Bas Special!!! PEOPLE... THE BAS SPECIAL!

I send the Mrs in for her first ever solo purchase, another 3 grams of the Bas Special please. We sat and relaxed and talked and enjoyed the world and the next thing we knew it was 6pm. That was a great day. I understand why there’s so much love for Basjoes, it’s a great shop.

Fantastic service and a good layout. The patio rocks. A note about the service, the dude we met had the long dreads and I regret for not introducing ourselves better. He’s a nice fella though, and he remembered us from the previous two stops for Terminator.

I like the way he stores the product in sealed baggies as opposed to those large tubs most other places use. Less air contacts the weed and the freshness was undeniable. It’s little things like this that makes a difference in the end.

I felt the creeping of a potential weed issue from the Bas Special... i caught myself and realized it was for lack of food. My head was getting very light, and we needed to eat. We ate tortorlini and canalone for dinner at an Italian place on daamstraat.

Great eats, and 2 hours after smoking at Basjoes we’re still flying nicely.

Off to Barney’s uptown for dessert and a smoke. Had the last 2 grams of our Red Dragon along with chocolate cake and icecream.

Feeling great i light up the joint i rolled at Amnesia from this morning... lol it was still smokeable but it shouldn’t have been. I left it in my shirt pocket all day and it needed a little surgery, but the high was nice.

Out to grab some water and pop for the apartment, and toilet paper, and a couple snacks. Situation critical with the toilet paper and wouldn’t you know it i grabbed two rolls of paper towels thinking they were 4 rolls of 2 ply... frick. This is not going to end well, literally, at some point.

On the way to the apartment a quick stop off at Dampkring for 2 grams of g13 amnesia haze at 26e. When we finally got home after a long 9 or 10 hours walking and peddling, it was time for the g13.

As i finish writing this entry, the Mrs is pinned to the wall on the floor, unable to move for the red cherry snacks we bought about an hour ago! Sorry for being so long, but i still feel that so much was left out.

There are a few stories I will share when the memory bugs are a little clearer ;)

Down to our final two days in Amsterdam for probably at least six months at the absolute earliest.

Right now, we need to concentrate efforts on getting the AF House out of the way so the remaining hours can be spent in a high state of bliss.

Tuesday's plan includes another Basjoes run, but for a reload on the Bas Special! Oh yeah!

This had me LMAO! I hope she's recovered...poor Mrs. TC

I have got to say, your reports are pure gold, my friend. Such an enjoyable read...they really are. It's making me even more impatient for out trip in August! I can't wait to share such experiences with my fiancé. You both are bascially creating a map for us follow and improvise on :) You're even hitting the same tourist spots we've planned on visiting!

Keep the stories coming, my friend. I'm sure there's a lot of us here that truly appreciate the fun and insight you're providing *high five* :D
