Oh dear :(, It'll pass :D  8). Then you can give us a toke by toke report on the carnage which I'm sure took place  :P.
What a long strange trip it is.

Trip #7 - Nov 28-Dec 2, 2013

Post by TwoCanucks »

I wasnt sure about doing a full up trip report, but here I am writing one. Not sure if I will get all the way through or just revert to listing purchases....but whatever, lets get it going and see what happens... so here goes....

Day 0

A full year has passed since my last visit to Amsterdam. The foggy remains of last years' fall vaporized many months ago. The best part of yearly treks to Mokum is also the worst part...365 days is far too long to wait between visits. It builds the anticipation to a ragging fire.

Well....the wait is over...it's finally here!

This year my best bud and smoking pal Jinxy is coming along. This will be his second trip, both with me, and my seventh overall. Our prior experience left us with lessons learned, from bruises to mushroom trips and all that Amsterdam has to offer in between.

We are prepared.

I pick up Jinxy the morning of our flight, and we spend the next couple hours smoking some fattys and hitting the bong. We are fucked up, and yup, it's time to go!

Mrs TC has graciously worked from home today, making her available for the airport drop off. An hour or so later we are checked in and heading to the gate.

Image

We have a plan... sleep on the plane... arrive refreshed!!! I want to hit 4 or 5 shops for buy and flies before heading to Barneys for the traditional first day breakfast.

Image

This is it, buckle up... KLM is ready to roll!

Next stop Amsterdam!
