Post Amsterdam Blues is a real condition. No lie.

The good news is that good weed and booking another trip are the only two methods of treatment.

Well, that and time.

We'll wait. :D You can always just start teasing us with some pictures.

Day 3 - Thursday, Feb 9, 2012

10:00am and my eyes open... head foggy... throat sore... eyes red and itchy... what the hell happened?

I start to remember the crawl, the smoke, the beers, the food... what a day. We're supposed to meet Gapie, but one look at Jinsxy and it's clear he is sick and hungover and high and drunk still. "Dude, did you go to sleep last night?"

We are not moving anywhere fast, so I light up some Grinspoon for a sativa charge, then follow that up with kosher kush from Voyagers... giving the exact opposite effect of the Dr G... wtf was I thinking.

Some time around noon I pop out real quick for a run down to HSB at Market... grab 3.5 grams of lemon haze

By 2pm we're finally getting out the apartment and going for something to eat...

Late in the afternoon, early evening around 5pm we go to Hunters for 1 gram of jack herrer iso hash and 2 grams super lemon haze... then into Stones for 2 grams King Kong, and 1 gram of King Hassan.

Around 6pm we decided on coffees... Green Place first for 2 grams of budda tahoe OG

into Basjoes (2 hours or so after our originally scheduled TnT lol)... met one of the new budtenders, nice enough fella. Bought 2 grams of g13 haze and sat and enjoyed a booth.

Image

Jinxsy loved Basjoe, and said it was his favorite of the trip... so it can be confirmed that the atmosphere and appeal remains even if James is not there.

Here's where things get a little shady, my notes say we also stopped at Sheeba for 2 grams of lemon cheese and 2 grams of Mango Haze.

We also popped into Bulldog No. 90... just because it was there, and it offers a little bit of a historical experience. Bought 1.8 grams of kaliagria.

I have no memories of any of these smokes sadly... at this point we've not really been sober for any amount of time over the course of 3 days.

Looking at the table in front of me at that moment...

Image

...I can really understand how that's possible.

King King from Stones I do recall being a ko smoke, good for falling asleep to... and the Jack Herrer Iso was also a bit of a disappointment, as Jinxsy and I both commented that it lacked punch for the price.

At one point, Jinxsy's feet were starting to bother him and he thought about popping into a massage parlor for a heel massage. lol... he couldn't understand why the ladies were all coming out onto the street to offer the massages... oh Jinxsy... really?

Image

There were beers at Hunters, and Febo as well... and Day 3 was lost to the wind with a thick cloud of marijuana smoke.

Coming up on Day 4... Adventures with Mushrooms

Another great write up mate. And your advice on smokes to me before. I really rated the exodus cheese grey area and grapefruit from Voyagers.

Is the grinder in your picture from greenhouse and 5 euro. I bought a grinder from hill street blues on Market, and it was awful, it was ridiculously difficult to twist. A few shops have the greenhouse grinders to use so are these the best of the cheaps? Cheers
