Day 4 / Part 2- Friday, Feb 10, 2012
First: apologies for the two month delay, like I've said, sometimes life deals you a hand you need to play.
Second: love this website and the people, enjoy.
So when last we chatted, Jinxsy was messed up on Shrooms and off on his own, no jacket, no phone, and no idea where he is or where he is going... but most importantly, no idea how to find the apartment.
It's about 8pm or so, and it's getting a lot colder by the minute.
I'm worried, really worried. How am I going to call his wife and explain things if Jinxsy winds up at the bottom of a canal (which he likes to call "dams"...for some reason, he associated "dams" with Amsterdam... oh Jinxsy).
I begin walking the red light district aimlessly, looking down each alley, and inside sex shops. no luck.
After an hour or so, I relent that Jinxsy is his own man, and what happens will happen. So it's back to the apartment.
Just as I reach the Febo at the corner, there's Jinxsy, shivering, smiling and drinking a soda.
"What happened to you?" I ask.
He replies, "what do you mean?"
Dude! Turns out Jinxsy was so thirsty he couldn't wat 2 minutes for me to get back. Says he wandered out to get a bevvy. He passed by one of the sex shows and saw the two drink special with admission.
Only thing is, he didn't realize it was a sex show when he went in. Oh man.
"My head really hurts, I'm confused and then there's this hugely hung black guy jackhammering a wee lass on a rotating stage," explains the little man. "I didn't know if I was dreaming or really there."
"I was worried he would be offended if I got up and left"
After some giggles and stories and a lot more herb, we call it a night.
We'll have only 24 hours remaining in Amsterdam when we wake up -- I plan on making the most of it.
In our final installment... bongs, beers, and an offer to sleep with another man's wife... no I'm serious!
