When I first saw this question I almost jumped out of my skin at the chance to use the 'let me google that for you' web-thingy that Boner taught me how to do the other day... Shame i wasn’t in time! I lurk on a few forums and will be defo using this beauty.
Anyway, I do waffle on, sorry. Maoz is a great place (get the battered eggplant with your falafels, lush!), but my personal preference is to use the place for an early lunch, before too many people have the chance to sneeze all over the salad bar.

I really rate La Place (thread above
) on the Rokin (stones throw from dam square) for great cheap stoned dining. Busy enough to be utterly faceless mooching around picking and choosing for an hour or so, yet not too busy to be crazy. Shed loads of seating with some real GEMS of seats that you could easily sit in all day long without being noticed, watching the world slide by. Blinking tasty food too!
